Okay, now I have to vent to you guys my absolute stupidity.
My old health care coverage covered everything related to infertility (nice), I went to my appointment this morning with my brand new coverage (totally forgot that it had even changed), and I just found out that my new coverage will cover nothing.
We have a huge bill headed to the house from this morning's appointment. I can't believe we forgot to check that first. We have the money saved up and can pay it off, but it was being saved for a trip to Disneyland, which is now totally out the window.
So this is it for us. I sure hope it works, I feel so stupid.
Is there anyone in your insurance office you can call? Sometimes they can outline for you what your gynie coverage is and it could have an "office visit" or something in there? So sorry honey. Insurance is such a battle!

. Again, it definately helps that you are monitoring it on your own. You may want to keep a log of monthly dates and times you are testing prior to your cycle, the results of the tests, and when your cycle begins and it's length. My protocol was that tested first pee in the am which usally gives you highest LH reading and first pee when I got home from work to see how the day was going. Again, this was our protocol which worked for us. When you have done this for 6 months give your Dr. another call and tell her/ fax her your results. She may see/hear something that sticks out and changes her mind about when she will see you. It is smart to be proactive when it comes to this stuff so good for you!
(which the people on that show unfortunately are crazy). Even worse, I kept losing the baby monkey, so I wasn't even a good monkey mom in my dream, haha.
