TTC thread take 2

I went to the dentist today, yippee  My gums sure bled a lot today. Of COURSE they did x-rays....and I had to hold back tears, just thinking about what I had THOUGHT I would get to say on this visit..."Oh no x-rays this time, I'm pregnant!" -- This is what was SUPPOSED to happen in my mind. Instead, I got to wear the stupid vest and do the stupid bitewings :sad2:

Yep...The things I let get to me, is really sad. It's just been such a long road. Anyone else want to fast forward through the holidays with me?? We can't do any more treatment until at least January. What sucks the worst is this New Year's Eve will be the 2 year mark for us.

 I can totally relate to the dentist announcement. For years I would go in and have to say "Yes, you can do x-rays". :sad1: Then one day I got to say NO and that felt good. They thought I was joking w/ them after all these years.
Oh, I have to say "NO" on the fast forward through the holidays. Only because my b-day is in Dec and I don't want to get any further into my 40s.

Yay on Gabbie and Rose who might get to meet up. :cool1:

E - :grouphug: We'll get you through to Jan and will still be planning that virtual shower!!:thumbsup2

Looks like we may have 4 people to meet up the weekend before TG in IL. I'll keep y'all posted. Hoping we can bring each other some good luck hugs.

I put my vote in for Spirit of Aloha! We had a great time when we went and I believe if you are going on the Dining Plan you can use 2 dining plan sit downs to pay for it. I could be wrong but you might want to check it out!:goodvibes

Last night instead of reading over the legal docs again I did laundry; sorted laundry; and put it AWAY! The putting it AWAY is key:thumbsup2. I'm hoping that tonight the impetus grabs me and we/I can do more to sort out the laundry room. Mike's X came over round 9 to pick up Meghan and brought alot of antipasta from a board meeting that she was hosting for her boss. Yum! I LOVE antipasta! We have a very Italian fridge right now:)

AF is being witchy today and I have crampage. :headache: Wish I was home so I could just be. . . It's kinda dark and rainy here so it's the perfect day to finish up the basement and watch either bad lifetime movies OR the syfy channell cause they have the 31 days of Halloween on:eek:

I'm looking foward to the holidays cause I love the holidays. I'm love to dress up the house and get the Christmas music going on "the light"! The weekend after Halloween will be set getting all of our Halloween stuff in the crawl space and all our TG/Christmas stuff out!

Boss is cranky so off to work!
Take care!
E

I look forward to the holidays every year. I love the lights, cooking, and singing holiday music.

My AF is getting farther apart. She's now coming every 2-3 months instead of every month. That's not good. :headache: My g-ma did that for a few years before she just stopped on her 40th birthday.

I am going to talk to my dx again about what to do about my cycles...nothing seems to regulate them, not even the pill. It makes TTC so hard.

After the results of my next u/s, I may need laprasopic surgery to get rid of the fibroids. Maybe then,we can try again. :sad2:

Gabbie

Oh and AF STILL isn't here...she's a month overdue now. After taking 3 tests, all negative. I'm cramping and witchy. I know when she'll show...next week or right after we get to Disney! I'll just take my happy pills and pain meds with me. She is not ruining our anniversary trip! :)

I just had to comment on the bad lifetime movies....watched a few on Sunday!! It was great. LOL

Gabbie, I can't remember if I've ever asked you, have you temp charted before? (take your basal body temperature) When I had my LOOOONG cycles it was very helpful for me. When my temps were bouncing around like crazy and no ovulation pattern, I knew that I had a hormone issue and needed medss! I also don't remember if you've taken clomid? (or is that bad for the fibroids?)

Another channell / movie series that can sometimes get me is on the Hallmark Channell when the "Love" series comes on. . . It starts with "Love Comes Softly" and continues with Love's Enduring Promise (2004), Love's Long Journey (2005), Love's Abiding Joy (2006), Love's Unending Legacy (2007), Love's Unfolding Dream (2007), and Love Takes Wing, (April 4, 2009). The final installment of the series, Love Finds a Home aired April 11, 2009.[1][2] I can get sucked in for a WHOLE day watching this and definately have. Very hokey feel good wanna drink coco and eat chicken noodle soup on a rainy day. I was actually thinking of ordering it on Amazon to have! Michael Landon Jr. is the producer and it is very LHOPesqe:goodvibes

If done right it can take that long AND the comfort food can change too! I make sure there is plenty of it all! I actually just priced it on Amazon and it wasn't to crazy. I'm putting it on my wish list for Christmas:thumbsup2

too funny girl, love it!

I wish I was home right now watching Lifetime movies. Anywhere but here! It's a nutso kinda day. I've been waiting on something to be faxed to me for over an hour...can't go to lunch until after I get this and process it. Now it's almost noon and I'm starving and about to bust out a coke and doritos. Yup, I said it. Sucky day.

I am watching the miners being pulled out and wiping tears every time they do. After lunch I am going to curl up on the couch with Ella to watch dora and hopefully take a nap ;)

All I can smell is pizza from the meeting that is going on in the conference room. . . I've already busted out the pretzels and may grab a diet coke soon. If my stomach growls any louder they'll hear it at the United Center!

No I haven't, but I think I should start that. Maybe it will help.

I cannot do clomid right now because of the fibroid.

FIL is taking us out to dinner. I think he's lonely. :goodvibes My MIL is in Japan right now seeing her family. My FIL has been treated for prostate cancer and hopefully, it's in remission.

God willing, he will trump that cancer!

I thought I'd heard that clomid was bad for fibroids. Too bad, but I think the temping will be a valuable tool. Let me know if you decide to start, and how it works out for you. PM me (or ask here) if you want any temping help, etc. :thumbsup2

We went to Gasthaus, a German restaurant. I had the filet of beef with mashed potatoes and salad. Kenny had veal schnitzel and Bob (FIL) had wiener schnitzel.

Bob is doing great! He has one more blood test and if his PSI count keeps going down, he can be considered cancer free!

He is looking forward to Yumie (MIL) coming home. She gets in Nov. 2. She'll be bringing my fave Japanese cookies....they're wafer thin and have chocolate inside. :lovestruc:lovestruc

We may have them over for turkey day. We're doing our turkey day the day before so Ken can enjoy it. (He has to work on turkey day)

We're going to have:

Turkey
dumplings (a Gibson family tradition....Gibson is my maiden name)
stuffing
green beans
sweet potatoes
mashed potatoes (for Ken)
rolls
sugar free pumpkin pie
sparkling cider (we do this so my mom can have some when she comes over. She doesn't drink and we only do minimally)
diet and regular dr. pepper

Cute profile picture Gabbie!:)

We usually have Thanksgiving at our house too. We have pretty much traditional faire:
Turkey basted with port wine
2 types of stuffing, in and out of the bird
mashed potatoes
smashed carrots
string beans with almonds
home made apple pie
home made pumpkin pie
some other dessert that I haven't thought of yet
Beer, soda and juice
Hors D'ourves are whatever my SILs bring

Yummm! I'm getting hungary just thinkin bout it!:goodvibes

So my Dad and stepmom offered to pay for us to go to the Spirit of Aloha show and a character breakfast as part of our Christmas present! :woohoo: So I canceled our Crystal Palace dinner and now on that day we have Crystal Palace breakfast and the luau! Cancelling the dinner gave me an extra TS credit so we booked Boma! :thumbsup2 While I was making changes I switched our Garden Grill dinner to Ohana breakfast! :yay: What an exciting planning day for me.
Seriously, without Disney to think about I don't know what I'd do with myself! :rolleyes1

Tomorrow I go for my HSG- yikes!
