TTC thread take 2

Cher, that is awesome news!!! We transferred on the same day! I haven't tested yet. Maybe tomorrow. I go in for the blood test Friday. I got it moved late enough that I could go shopping first!

my gosh I had no idea!!! I could have been praying for ya!!! Oh I hope I hope I hope!!

I did wait last time! I didn't have tests initially but now that I do I still haven't tested. I haven't talked about it this time much. It's been a much easier process for me overall. If it doesn't work, I'm ok this time since I've got my sweet boy. I'm terribly frightened about the possibility of twins!

if you get twins you can handle them! :)

So I hope you're enjoying your shopping. Waiting ever so (im)patiently for your results today....

Positive! My beta was 155. DH is freaking a little. I think he's scared round 2 won't be as amazing as DS and all the normal anxieties. I'm in shock. I was sure I wasn't. I'm using crinone and I have had some color when that comes out (sorry for the TMI). Cher, I think we're due 8/3. I'm still waiting for something to go wrong. If this is choppy it's because I'm typing on my kindle.

OMG I knew it!!!!! Congrats girl!! I had my blood drawn a couple hours ago but they were pretty busy which explains why I haven't gotten a call back. I am hoping mine is at least 150 because my digi (measuring 50 IUI) was positive on Wednesday.

Ahhh they just called as I was typing this! 267!!!!!!

Cheri and Courtney, I'm so excited for both of you!!! Such wonderful news!! :goodvibes

DS#2 is almost 10 months old now and I still look at him and can't believe he's actually here after everything we went through TTC.

Good news to all!

I have good news too...

I am starting AF.

No, that's not ordinarily good news, but...it means that I am not missing as much now.

The dx said this could happen....who knows? Maybe the tube is coming unplugged....*crosses fingers*

Lost 50 pounds

Survivied a crap year. My dad is doing better again. Sooo happy.

So....

What do you do when you survive the worst year ever?

Go to WDW!!!!! at NYE!!!!

Yes, Im nuts.

Leaving 12/29-Jan. 2

Sooo happy!!!!

Congratulations Cheri and Courtney! How amazing, wonderful and simply AWESOME for you! Any tips to stay stress-free during IVF?

Falltime, I am glad you are back on for January! I just started birth control for my January cycle as well - it's our first time too, so I understand completely the nerves/excitement. Glad you get to take a WDW trip to kick-off everything!

Gabby, congrats on AF and hope you have a fantastic trip to Disney over New Year's. What a fun time to go!

This thread has been good luck lately. Let's hope and pray that trend continues into 2012!

Tips...hmmm, I would suggest meditation. It REALLY helped me just prior to and post-transfer. There is a program called Circle+Bloom and it is wonderful!!!! I really think this relaxation technique played a big role in my success.

Lots of people also swear by acupuncture. But I didn't do it for this FET.

I also decided to drink caffeine occasionally, not make myself give it up. It kept me sane. :goodvibes But I did coca cola, not coffee. So cokes do have a lot less caffeine than coffee.

Wonderful news!!!!!!

thank you!

The 2nd beta is in today. 725!!! Doubling time of 35.39 hours. I am still in shock. In a great way of course :goodvibes

My 2nd beta is in, too! 615.2, which is nearly quadrupled in 3 days. When do you go in for your first u/s, Cheri? I go in on the 13th!

DisneyElite4-I don't think there is a fool proof way of remaining stress free. For me, it's my religion overall. Since we aren't really allowed to get into that on the boards, I'll just say that I had faith that what should be would be. Also, I had a couple of friends that were cheerleaders for me and really helped me deal with everything. It helped having a few people I could talk to. Online communities like this one were really helpful, as well.

I had DS from my first cycle, which made this FET much easier stress-wise. For me, once I had him, the pressure was off for future kids, although I'm really excited that it sounds like we're going to have a chance for another!

Your numbers are great as well! I'm actually getting an ultrasound this Friday! They said once the hcg gets up to 2000 or more they can usually see the sack (or sacks!). At the rate I'm going I will get there before Friday! I'm really excited and praying it's not too early to see something.

Cheri, how far along will you be? I went in during my 6th week for a viability u/s and we were able to see the sack and the little flicker of a heartbeat!! I went back in at 8 weeks because they thought they saw a small bleed at 6 weeks, and the 8 week u/s actually looked like a baby!

I will be exactly 5 weeks. So we are not expecting to see any heartbeats obviously. Really it's mainly to see my Dr at her office, and since DH and I have off on Friday, they scheduled around that for us. So the next ultrasound to see the heartbeat(s) will be at the smaller office closer to us that we normally go to. :)

Oh my gosh! Congrats Courtney and Cheri!!! I still lurk from time to time and hope that there will be good news - this is awesome! You guys were such a help to me during our TTC journey and miscarriage (even if I didn't post much) and I'm so excited that there have been some BFPs!

Thankfully, my pregnancy has progressed uneventfully but I still can't quite get over the fear that something is going to go wrong. My DH laughs at me because I keep telling him that I'll feel better at such and such week, but then I get twitchy again after it passes. Once you have a loss you kind of lose that 'innocence,' you know?

Congrats again ladies - I'm so happy for you both!!

I'm waiting at the RE office now. Bleeding with clots last night. My hopes are low.
