TTC..take the bus?

I am repeatedly seeing different bloggers saying that when they go to the TTC they take a bus to a park even magic kingdom rather than the monorail or the ferry. Anyone extensively tested this? We have an upcoming stay at the Poly and I am wondering what mode of transportation is the most reliable to each of the parks. Should we skip the Poly bus stop and go to the TTC bus stop for AK and HS? Should we skip the EPCOT monorail in favor of the TTC bus? For MK, should we skip the resort tranportation forms and just walk to the TTC bus?

Generally speaking, there are no longer buses that run from the TTC to the parks.

Just take the bus from the poly.

Agree with @Alesia - you can’t get a bus to the parks from the TTC. There are only buses from TTC to MK and Epcot if the monorail isn’t running or something major is going on. Years ago before the MK bus plaza was fully built the TTC had more bus transportation options, but not anymore.

It's been a long time since there were any park buses at TTC. At least a couple of years. unless there is something wrong with the monorail. Buses now go directly to Magic Kingdom or you can catch a park bus at your resort. Don't know what is with the bloggers.

Years ago, the buses to DHS and AK, from the MK, were located at the TTC. Now, they've moved to the bus stops actually at MK. So, if you're at the Polynesian, there will be direct buses to DHS and AK. To get to Epcot, you would take the resort monorail over to the TTC ( or walk since it's right next door), then transfer to the Epcot monorail line. To get to the MK, you can take the boat or monorail from the Polynesian.
The only time there would be buses to MK or Epcot, from the Polynesian, would be if the monorail was down or for some other special reason...it's not a daily occurrence.
