Is there a bus that is specifically for TTC or do I need to get on a MK bus to get to TTC?

Where are you coming from? And why do you need to get to the TTC?

The only two resorts that have a bus to the TTC is the Wilderness Lodge, and Fort Wilderness. Otherwise, yes, you'd need to go to the MK, and catch the monorail.

I ask why you need to get to the TTC, because, theres really nothing there. It's just the Magic Kingdom car parking lot, basically.

Hey Chip 'n Dale Express!! I was hoping you were out there somewhere!

Well, I will be coming from CBR and need to get the Lynx bus to go to Seaworld. I was hoping to go during the time of our stay that we would be a the Poly but I decided I didn't be away from that resort the whole day! (we're splitting our stay 4 nights each Poly and CBR)!

Thanks for your help!!

I am also curious about this, We are staying at CSR and I want my fiancee to experiance arriving at MK via the Ferry.
Because that is the way I first arrived and it is a special feeling seeing the park as you cross the lagoon

Okay, that works! :) Your best bet would be to hop on either a MK, or Epcot bus... whichever comes first. From MK or Epcot, hop on board the monorail to the TTC. To return to CBR, just reverse the process. :)

What I would recommend... hop a bus to Epcot. At Epcot, hop on board the Monorail. Make sure to ask to ride up front, it's a very special experience. The monorail will take you to the TTC, from which you can hop on board the Ferryboat. Speak with a deckhand there, sometimes Chip & Dale, and even Pluto ride on the Ferry... It's worth waiting a few minutes to ride on thier Ferry boat. :)

Something that has always confused me.

Why do Lynx routes stop at TTC, deep into Disney property, when they could equally well stop at Downtown instead (or as well as)?

Lynx is supposed to be a public service, so why does it pick up and drop off at a location so poorly served by Disney's internal transport system?

For most Disney resort hotels you would waste 45 minutes to an hour of your day, each way, getting to and from TTC. Downtown would be a much better point to connect with Lynx.

Does Lynx not want to stop at Downtown, or does Disney prevent them from doing so?

Lynx DOES stop at Downtown Disney. Just not the one you might want. The 301, 302, 303, and 304 all stop at DTD Westside. These four buses are commuter buses. They all pick up once in the morning in various residential areas throughout Orlando. From there, they all come to the Westside Transfer Point, where they then travel to various areas of Disney Property. Routes are reversed for one run in the late afternoon.

The 50 and 56 stop at the TTC, as well as MK Cast Bus Station. This stop is for those Disney employees needing to get to the MK. The TTC serves as a transfer point for those employees needing to get to a theme park. In the early morning, we at Disney Transport will also take them to wherever else they need to get to work.

The 50 and 56 (mostly the 56) also serve some of our Guests coming from 192 hotels. Stopping at DTD would be a hassle for us and them, as they'd all be wanting to get to the theme parks.

That's why the TTC is the best place for them, and as shown above, for our cast members.

So to summarise, the system is set up for the needs of cast members and for theme park visitors staying offsite, but not for Disney Resort Guests trying to get offsite!

I tend to stay at Disney three to four weeks each time I visit and I like to get offsite one or two days each trip. Wheelchair adapted vans are very expensive to rent, so I rely on buses. Disney makes it inconvenient for me to use Lynx.

Yes I know about Mears & taxi cabs, but I would love to visit Winter Park which would mean a very expensive cab fare.

There's a high demand for guests wanting to come on property. There's very little demand for guests wanting to go off. Disney has no control over Lynx routes and such. Lynx is Orlando's public transit agency. If you don't like thier routes, there's not much Disney can do about it.

An altertative that you might want to check out would be Access Lynx. 1-800-556-TRIP.
