doing a four day trip and will be spending one day at Epcot. My question...what is the best strategy to do all three while waiting in the least amount of lines. We will be rope dropping...do we go to on an early morning extra magic hour (most tourist plans say to avoid the parks those days) or a regular day. We will be rope dropping from The International gateway entrance. When FastPlus + opens up, here is my strategy:

Extra Magic Hour Morning
RD and walk briskly to Soarin
Go directly to TT
Go directly to Mission Space
Use 1st FP on Spaceship Earth Approximately 11:00?
use 2nd FP Pixar Movie Approximately 12:00
Use 3rd FP Frozen Approx 1:00

Does this seem like a good plan? Or is it better to go directly to Frozen and FP Soarin? Remember, I will be coming from International Gateway.

If you can use the EMH tean go for it. The conventional wisdom to avoid EMH parks is really for those who can not use the extra hours. If your are staying on-site then use away. Sometimes it is good to Park Hop away from the Morning EMH park (or to the Evening EMH park), but it's not a huge deal.

Your plan looks good. Soarin' first, then the Test Track (which will build a line, but it moves faster than Soarin' (though the additional theater for Soarin' could impact wait times quite a bit). Rope Drop at FEA is going to be insane, especially coming from the IG instead of the front (You might be able to beat the rush, but you might not; Typically IG guests are herded toward the Canada side of World Showcase and therefore Future World West, but this could change with Frozen opening). I would stick with a FP for FEA.

You do not need to use an FP for the Pixar Short Films Festival. You will pretty much only wait through one show cycle to see it. I know Epcot doesn't have much else where the Tier 2 FPs are needed, but even using it on Nemo or Imagination would be more beneficial.

this look fine I did soaring first thing and I do not walk fast got off and there was only a 15 minute wait ( this was about 9 months before it closed)

TT do single rider line if you do not mind not going with others

then FP frozen

I wouldn't waste a FP+ on Spaceship Earth. Even when the line looks long, it always moves pretty fast, because there is never any pause in the ride to load/unload.

I agree with this. Living with the land might be back at the second tier too, so that might be a good place to use it if available as well. So would Turtle Talk with Crush, with the new movie and new characters, it might renew interest in the show.

But the line can be long depending on the time of day. Usually many people hit it as they come into the park, so you'll see it gather momentum as monorails and trams let off. Also the poster did not say what time of year they are going. We use this as a FP+ attraction because with a 2 year old time spent standing is a bad idea.

What would you use your tier 2 FP+ on if not the spaceship earth?

I've been in 30 minute SE standby lines.

Personally, I'd drop the Pixar short films FP.

EMH is great, if you actually arrive in time to take advantage of it -- Be at the International Gateway by 7:40 a.m. And with the addition of the 3rd theater, I suspect Soarin lines will be more manageable than before.

RD -- Soarin
By 8:30, you're in line for TT.

Mission Space is now a tier 2 FP, if I understand correctly.
So I'd do the FPs at 9/10/11 -- Spaceship Earth/Mission Space/Frozen.

I wouldn't use the FP right at 9 --- From 9-10, I'd do other activities, while lines are still very low. Then right at 10, I'd use the first FP for Spaceship Earth or Mission Space.
Between 10-11, I'd use the 2nd FP, for Mission Space or Spaceship Earth. Then I'd use the Frozen FP right at 11.... And when you're done with Frozen, the entire World Showcase will be open.
And it may even be early enough, that you can snag a decent 4th FP.. maybe even a 4th FP to Soarin or Test Track for an extra ride.
