TT Morning Madness

Was wondering how much tickets normally cost and when you can do this. Is this on certain days? Does that are EE or not EE?? The place we are getting our hoppers through give us a day of EE can we use the TT Morning Madness tickets then too??

What is TT Morning Madness for starters, and from everything I read here, you can't buy them - you have to get them in a package????? This is a question not an answer.

I have been wondering about this being my 1st trip to DL & all, but felt kinda - ok, stupid asking.

MTTMM vouchers are included in package purchases through Walt Disney Travel Company and the agencies that book through WDTC (like AAA and Costco travel).

They cannot be purchased, unless you get them through ebay by someone who didn't want to use theirs.

It is 4 days a week, not all the same days at EE, but there are some overlapping days. What it means is that TT opens an hour earlier than normal. Since TT always opens an hour after DL opens to the public, that means that on those days TT opens at the same time as DL.

If you have a package and have the vouchers, you CAN plan it so that you get to enter DL an hour before it opens for EE, and then at the time the park opens normally, go to TT for Morning Madness. We chose to split those days, but you *could* do it on the same day.

On our day the skies opened and it rained like crazy, so I'm not sure we got the full benefit of it, but there was a little parade of characters and CMs coming over to the stage area, and the deputy mayor gave a speech (the mayor is Mickey, of course), and then the TT family of the day (which was, erm, us, thanks to DS's cuteness as we entered TT, lol) was called up on stage. As soon as the woman in the family (that would be me) said that they were from Tacoma WA...the clouds opened and we all had to run for shelter, LOL.

It gives you the opportunity to go to the houses and get autographs with a smaller group of people than after it opens, or to go on the TT rides without as many people around.

It was especially fun for us b/c of DS getting chosen, but then not as fun b/c it rained so hard. I think I'll miss it the next time we go (we got APs so we won't need to buy packages for this year), but I doubt I'll buy vouchers from ebay or sign up on the thread here.

When you have these tickets for your party 3 years old +, you get into Toontown 1 hour before normal opening of Toontown. Toontown usually (without TTMM tickets) opens 1 hour after park opening. They have a character parade and some kind of swearing in as an honerary citizen etc.

So, if I understand this correctly - you can still get into Toontown, but at normal opening. And if you have these special TT Morning Madness tickets you just get in 1 hour earlier?

tickets make it easier to get Pics with the characters but I also keep hearing TTMM is crowded. Not sure. I have not been but will be going in a few weeks.

Yes, it's just a special "get in early" thing.

As far as I know the parade is only for morning madness. But don't think it's a *parade*, like other Disney parades. It's a parade in the sense that it's some characters and CMs walking/dancing in a row to a destination. It's not a parade.


As for the character meetings...ours was crowded and a bit of a wait because it started storming, and everyone went inside. There was no one going on the rides (except maybe Roger Rabbit) b/c of the torrential downpour (and I'm soooo not kidding, it was insane), so we were all in Mickey's house walking through and getting pix and autographs of everyone.
