Big earthquake off the coast of Russia. All Hawaiian islands are being told to get inland or seek higher ground. They expect waves to start up around 7:00pm Hawaiian time today.

A little unspoken fact… when you hear Perry and the Posse on KSSK and it’s not a Monday thru Saturday morning, something serious has happened. Those guys actually go on the air LIVE when an emergency like this occurs.Watching news updates and facebook posts... seems like HW escaped the worse of it... hopeing it stays that way as the sun comes up and they can see everything more.

Yesterday, following an 8.8-magnitude earthquake off the coast of Russia, tsunami warnings were issued across Hawaii—including at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.
In an abundance of caution, Disney evacuated the first three floors of the resort and suspended elevator service while preparing for potential impact. Thankfully, no significant waves occurred, and the resort is expected to return to normal operations later today.
