We just heard. The map I saw looks like Honolulu is least likely of all the islands to be affected. I hope the seas stay calm and none are affected.

Honolulu is recommending coastal areas evacuate or get to above 4 stories above if in a building.

Some at Aulani said as of now they have only closed the beach and pools nothing else as of yet.

I have family on Oahu, near Ewa Beach. All I know from a brief message is sirens went off, a school is being readied as an emergency shelter and a youth camp has been evacuated and the kids brought inland. Everyone needs to prepare for the worst and hope for the best

Aulani TVs aren’t working in rooms but guests have been notified to go to floor 3 or higher

Thank you for posting this article. Before you posted this, I was wondering about the Aulani protocol during tsunamis, and there was minimal information on the internet.

Given that the tsunami effects on Hawaii have quickly fallen out of the mainstream news cycle, I hope it has caused minimal damage.

When you look at it, you'll see that anything less that a "Extreme Tsunami Evacuation Zone" would simply involve walking across the street to the ABC Store/Monkey Pod area.
