TSMM closing?

My BFF and I are arriving on 1/14/18 and I know there will be a lot of closures due to referbs and the update to Paradise Pier becoming Pixar themed. I have seen CS, MFW, and the games are all scheduled to close on 1/8, but TSMM is not mentioned. Is that staying open? That would be fabulous, but it seems odd that the rest of the Pier will be closed... On another note, I saw IASM mentioned awhile ago but it's not on any official list I can find - will that be down as well? Thanks!

My guess is the TSMM will remain open (there might be some closures, but not a prolonged one) because the other attractions are getting new overlays installed to fit with the new Pixar Pier theme. TSMM is already "Pixar", so it doesn't need to get a new theme/overlay installed.

Is IASM, It's a Small World? It usually closes in later part of January to have the holiday overlay removed. My guess is that It's a Small World will still be open when you go, but Haunted Mansion will be closed.

Haven't seen anything yet about TSMM going down for a refurb but wouldn't be surprised if it did for some period of time while all the other work is being done. It would actually be nice if TSMM got a little tlc.

Haunted Mansion Holiday will close on Jan. 8 to have it's overlay removed. That usually takes 10 days or so. Once Haunted Mansion opens back up, then It's A Small World closes to have it's overlay removed. You should be able to ride the IASW holiday version during your visit.

Sorry yes - IASW is it's a small world. good to know! I'm probably in the minority but I'd rather be able to ride that than HM. I'm keeping an anxious eye out for other closures - our top 3 favorites are Space, Thunder, and Indie - so far so good!

How long is It's a small world usually down for? We are heading down Jan 28th and I have missed that ride on both of my last trips lol

Assuming they do something similar to the past (which is often an iffy assumption to make), my guess is IaSW will be down from 1/22/18 through 2/1/18. It usually goes down the Monday after Haunted Mansion re-opens and is down for 11 days (assuming they tie in some longer refurbishment like they've done in the past).
