Tshirt for Autographs

Looking for a little guidance here.

DD loves Minnnie. I'm not doing an autograph book (that we can do for our next trip) but I thought it would be cool to make her a t shirt to remember the meeting.

Banking on the idea that I will get a good picture of her meeting Minnie i wanted to place the picture on a t shirt and then arrange the autograph on the shirt with it.

Should I have Minnie sign a piece of cardstock and then scan the images to build the shirt? Iron on?
OR Is there an easier way?

You can always have Minnie sign a blank t-shirt, and then print the photo on iron-on transfer paper, and add the photo afterwards. If you stretch the shirt in an embroidery hoop, Minnie will be able to sign exactly where you want her to - so you can work around where you want the photo to be. Using an embroidery hoop also makes it easier for Minnie to hold and sign.
