Tshirt advice

Hey everyone, I made some tshirts for my birthday last year using iron on paper, however when the images got wet (on Splash Mountain) the ink started to just run off. What paper do you use (or maybe special ink?) to make the iron ons water safe?

My mom and I are going for the pirate and princess party in January for a mother daughter weekend and I would like us to have shirts!

I had the same thing happen, but ours was just from perspiration, it was an Aug '07 trip. We are going Sept '08 & want to make shirts again but don't want to be embarrassed & have them run again. When I did this in '05 this didn't happen. Any advice?

I am not sure why your iron ons ran but I will give you a couple of tips that you may or may not have done.

Be sure to wash the shirts BEFORE the transfer is ironed on.

When you wash the shirts before, do NOT use any fabric softner or dryer sheets of any kind.

Also, I do not wash my shirts again until after our trip (this would have nothing to do with your problem) I like my shirts to look as fresh as possible and since they were just washed, it's not really necessary.

I had the same problem.... now I use Cafepress... I know not a cheap but I can wear them over and over

Wow, will www.cafepress.com do tshirts with Disney images? That would be so much easier than ironing on the 40+ tshirts I was planning on doing.

Yes they will but will then delete it out of you profile so you can't sell them ....I upload them and order and I have never had a problem. Zazzle will cancel your order...tried it .... Vista print did them for me also but I like the shirt selection better from Cafepress

I think thier sizing is pretty much on par....I think it took MAYBE a couple weeks to get them...Do a search for "cafe press coupons" They always have them out there HTH
