It's a show designed to make us think we have effective security.

Wow! Really? They are supposed to be watching the lights to clear people! Not one single person "beeped". Somebody always "beeps"! He didn't think it odd? I bet somebody is looking for a new job today!

As if there aren't enough delays out of that airport, now we have reason #492 not to fly through JFK!

And... they are suppose to check the machine periodically.. Plus it has lights on it at all time.

So, do you really think the average TSA agent is paying attention to anything except "gee that's a cute girl/guy" LOL!

As for looking for a new job... it's an employment act. They never fire ANYONE! LOL!

Actually, the TSA does fire employees. I have a patient who used to work for TSA. Can't divulge why she was fired, but, wasn't for something as serious as not watching the machines she was supposed to be monitoring.
