We have FD for our trip this October :cool1: and am very excited to try out the TS restaurants. My DD and I are not huge meal eaters (both like to snack throughout the day) and often share entrees at restaurants that I know serve very large portions, especially when we don't have a fridge for leftovers. I have seen pictures of the meals at Yak & Yeti and they seem huge! What restaurants have you tried that serve big enough portions that an adult and teen could share one entree and possibly an appy OOP and have enough to eat?
And on the other hand, which restaurants have portions that are definitely not shareable without ordering extra food OOP? TIA!:)

Well--you are going to get different opinions on this. From my point of view (and we eat exclusively at TS restaurants) NONE of them have prtions large enough that Mrs U and I have ever saw a need to share. Once in awhile she will get a portion that is a bit too large for her--but not often. And when it does happen I'm only to ready to assist!!!

The Mighty Mixed Grill at Raglan Road was big enough to share, last time we ate there.

As a general rule, I would say the "mid-level" table service restaurants (like Kona, 50's Prime Time, etc) tend to have pretty large portions, while the Signature restaurants (Citricos, CA Grill) often have more modest portions. This will vary depending on what you order, though. Best bet is to ask your waiter about a specific dish you're considering.

Looking at the pix will certainly help as the portion size varies more between entre's than restaurants.
The biggest 1 item so far was the antipasto platter at Tutto but it was all I really liked there.

We share everything, but order either several apps/dessert or app, entre, dessert each and everyone at the table generally gets a bite of anything they wanna try.Even at V&A and other local upscale places. The servers at Bistro were particularly accomodating to us about this last time we were there.

Some places that stand out for us are

50's Prime Time
Grand Floridian Cafe dinner
Tony's Town Square dinner
LTT lunch
Mama Melrose
Rainforest Cafe
