TS restaurants where you don't feel like you are eating with the party next to you?

Which TS restaurants(resorts or parks) would score an "A" in term of spacing between tables. I don't like tables that are so cramped that you can't back your chair up an inch nor do I like the table "rows" where you feel like you are eating with the party next to you because their table is 1-2 ft away from yours.

Any help is appreciated.

PS I don't want to come across as a snob, but when I am having dinner conversation, I don't want to share it with others nor do I want to hear their conversations...and a little elbow(chair) room doesn't hurt either.

We did not have that trouble at Maya (Coranado)...Whispering Canyon Cafe (Wilderness Lodge)...Ohana (Poly)....off the top of my head, that is all that I can think of....anyone else?

We've never had a problem with: LTT, Tony's, Concrouse (closing in May), MM, 'Ohana's or 50's PT

50's PT does have several tables that are shared...we sat next to a nice couple from MA this past trip and it did feel like they were setting with us...I am glad they were nice, polite people :goodvibes ...I did forget about Tony's and LTT, they are great choices with more private seating. Oh yeah, and don't forget Chef Mickey's...Unless they have rearranged their layout since we were last there, it is more private seating as well.

We've always been stuck in some corner away from existence. :lmao: Not sure why, but it always happens.

Lellier, Rose and Crown, Biergarten, the Japanese place (can't think of the name) are out.

Yachtmasmenan Steahouse ws my best reaction to almost "privacy". I alsom like what is now called the Captain's Grille. Both are at the Yacht Club.

California Grille sounds like tis great but it's noisy. Not sure your personal converstion would be hear but you'd be hard pressed to hear your partner's conversation.

Actually - one place I just thought of - Sci Fi Dine In. For a party of two, we loved this. It's just you and him/her in the seat, in the dark with stupid moves to watch. You cannot hear the people in front (or back but with a party of two we've always been in the back) at all. Two people - back seat at a drive in. I'll quit now.

I've eaten at most of the WDW places, including all of the signatures, and right now the only one I can think of that I felt I was actually separated from the other diners was at V&A. Artist Pointe had some space but it was still noisy enough in there that I was distracted by other diners' conversations. Citricos was not too bad the last time I was in there either but I haven't been there for the last two trips so they've probably packed more tables in there too.

This last trip 2 weeks ago, we actually engaged in conversation with the people seated next to us at Ca Grill, Le Cellier and 50's because they were sitting so dang close to us, it seemed rude NOT to talk to them.

On our October trip we ate at Jiko's and it was great. I actually felt like I was in an adult environment. I am sure there were children there, but I neither saw nor heard them. We had a nice, quiet, private conversation over dinner.

One thing we like to do is eat at the show kitchen at FF (like a bar, except with a few of the chefs and not vodka:laughing:). Our party usually takes up all (or nearly all) of the seats, so it feels really secluded (maybe not so much with only two people). We've also had good luck at the YS.

Spoodles, Citricos, Yachtsman Steakhouse and Il Mulino are all spaced out well.

garden grill booth, lower level. we couldn't even see anyone else. :goodvibes and it was pretty quite compared to some other ts places.

Definately stay away from the San Angel Inn. They pack you in there like sardines!

I remember having some nice space at Boma. (granted we could have just gotten a terrific table) but from my memory, most of the tables were spaced nicely.

Us too. I wonder what they would do if we both turned up on the same night? I think their seating chart would explode.

We got sat on an enormous table at California Grill one time, we could have done with a few extra bodies to make it a little less lonely. There were 3 of us on a 6/7 people table! It was great spot for the view though, so I shouldn't really complain.

V&A is nice and intimate, and quiet. I'm struggling to think of anywhere that fulfills your requirements!! Pretty much all of the restaurants I've been to have been pretty noisy, in terms of hustle and bustle (if that makes sense) I tend to switch folk on and off (probably because I don't mind catching the odd conversation)

The Brown Derby has some booths, so we don't feel like you are sat on top of the next table. Narcoossee's was pretty tightly packed. Citricos and Artist's Point are probably the best for spacing that I've experienced. Flying Fish and Jiko were not so bad, but this was a long time ago.

Definitely not Chefs de France, Le Cellier, San Angel, Nine Dragons, CRT or Crystal Palace.

The only place we thought we were sitting to close to another table was at Sci Fi's.

I agree that at Garden Grill the lower level booths are very private. Also, when we were at Coral Reef we were in one of the booths on the back of the lowest level. That was fairly private. At LTT, we were at a table that I felt very exposed...sort of at the intersection of two different walkways. I much prefer being tucked in a corner! Same with Askerhaus...we were in the middle of the room, but close to the buffet. It was ok, but again, would rather have been on the side of the room.

Garden Grill was my first thought too. When you're in one of those big circular booths, it feels as if no one else is around. It's especially nice when the characters come to the table to visit. I always ask for a booth when we go there, even if it means a longer wait.
