TS lunch suggestions

My husband and I are headed to DW in September without our kids. We are thinking of using our TS credits for lunches instead of dinners. That way we can avoid the heat of the afternoon and save evenings for parks.

We are both adventurous eaters and like a variety of foods. Can anyone suggest great lunch TS? While I would like to get a good value for our dining plan, I don't want to worry about dinner being a better value. Yet we would love some great TS meals. Our TA has suggested Artist Point (2TS) for one meal.

We did that a few times last trip- particularly when we were in the MK for the whole day. I just wasn't keen on spending a TS on any of the MK restaurants, and I felt like lunch would make us better able to be at the right spot for viewing wishes. The Concourse Steakhouse was one place we had lunch (we will be doing this again) that was easy to get to from the MK. I think the best way to pick your restaurants is to decide which park you will be at that day, and choose a TS that is easy to get to. AK would have the most limited choices for lunchtime- as Rainforest Cafe seemed to be the only TS that was reasonably close by. Since it closed early, we chose to hop to Epcot for a late dinner on AK nights. At Epcot and MGM, you have a lot more in park choices, so I would stay in those parks. Artist Point was a really great restaurant, but not as quick to get to as some of the monorail resort restaurants. I think California Grill would be easier to get to, and probably more worth the two TS. (We payed OOP for Artist Point, as it had a price fixe menu while we were there- not sure about now.) At Epcot, any WS restaurant would be great for lunch, and only 1 TS. At MGM, PrimeTime or Sci Fi would be a really fun lunch. Good luck and happy planning- picking restaurants is my favorite pre-trip planning job!:thumbsup2

Some of my favorite TS restaurants at lunch time:

-Le Cellier, in Canada at Epcot
-Coral Reef, in future world at Epcot
-Boma, at Animal Kingdom Lodge (ETA, they only have breakfast & dinner too, but for adventerous eaters I think you would enjoy it!!)
-(I know you said you were looking for lunches, but 'Ohana is fantastic at dinner time!!! they only serve breakfast & dinner)
-Mama Melrose at MGM
-Sci Fi Dine-In at MGM
-Nine Dragons, in China at Epcot
