TS hits miami today...

Miami is more likely to be affected than Orlando. Just the lay of the land vs weather pattern. Think happy thoughts. :goodvibes

First year I have not felt concerned. I think it is because we have always had the villa wheras this year we are onsite. I am so remarkably calm about everything this year it is unreal!

I wish I was, I feel a nervous wreck :sad2:

It's because it's all new to you. You will be fine when you get there. Sometimes too much information is a problem in itself. Disney is so well prepared for things like this and because of where it is situated it doesn't usually get the main onslaught of this kind of weather front.

Was in EPCOT today, there was a nice breeze and the usual downpour. Seems NY got a lot of the winds and thundering etc. You wouldn't even have known any difference but from it being reported on the news.

Theres no point in worrying, what will be will be if you know what i mean. I have friends whogo to Disney loads of time and they say Orlando has only been hit by a huge storm a few times and rarely closes. By the time anything reachs orlando inland its normally a storm.

I am used to Cyprus, with temperatures of 45+ and no chance of rain, let alone a storm :lmao::lmao:
