TS Hanna???

We leave Ohio in 9 days (Sept 6) for WDW and stay through the 14th....I'm starting to freak out about Hanna....anyone else nervous????

I'm definitely getting nervous, we leave on sunday and it looks like we're within the projected path for tues.

Nervous!! I'm downright going crazy!! We also leave the 6th too, coming out of Maryland. I keep telling myself to wait a few more days to see where she's going. But I can't! My eyes are glued to the nhc website.

Hopefully she will stay east and stay out over the ocean. If we can get passed Hanna, looks like we should be in the clear til we leave on the 13th. Hears hoping right....

We leave on the 7th and I can't stop watching the Weather Channel. It looks like we should be okay. Hanna should be winding down by Saturday & Sunday!!

Also leaving from CMH on 9/06, maybe see you at the airport! Nervous about the storm, but sure looks like the track has it out of there by Saturday, no matter which path it takes. My biggest logistical worry is canx flights the day prior backing up the schedule on Saturday. Hopefully for everyone's sake it stays out to sea.

I can't believe we're only less than 5 days away!!!!!!

I'm really starting to wonder if I should cancel/postpone our trip due to Hanna and Ike...I'm really stressing out now...any advice??

Hurricane Hanna looks like it's going to hit Georgia/Carolinas. Your flight might take longer (they have to fly around the storm), but I think we'll be okay. I leave on Friday from PVD, so I've been watching it too.

We drive down on Friday when Hannah should be near Florida/GA . It looks like we will be driving in the rain. I just hope and am praying that it doesn't rain our entire vacation.

Yep. Just watch your airline's website for announcements.

My wife and I are on the same flight, small world indeed! (bummed that there were no earlier non-stops this year, that kind of stinks!)

I wouldn't stress too much over the storms. Looks like we are in the clear with Hanna, unless things change drastically. Too soon to tell on Ike or any of his friends, so I certainly wouldn't consider changing plans, yet. Storms come with the territory when you book September, so only way to get a guarantee is to not book this month. The way I see it, as long as my flight down doesn't get cancelled, I can live with it. Most storms (Fay excepted) are in and out in a couple of days, so even if one rolls through, not likely to ruin the week. Obviously things could change, but for now I am not stressed.

My DH is not worried, he said he expects on and off rain and isn't worried at all....so at least ONE of us is calm!!!!!

Hah! I will be running around like mad hyped on Disney too! My DW is nursing a stress fracture from running, so won't be running so much!

I agree that pre-trip weather stress is not what I was hoping for this week!

i wouldn't cancel your trip! if you're arriving saturday it should be gone by then and ike is supposed to have a southwest track. you guys are going to love AKL. our family just spent 3 nights there 2 weeks ago and it wasn't enough time!! our daughter couldn't get enough of the animals. if it's a little rainy you can always stay in and explore the hotel.

Hah! I will be running around like mad hyped on Disney too! My DW is nursing a stress fracture from running, so won't be running so much!

I thought I had a mild stress fracture during marathon training last year and OUCH it hurt and it wasn't even fractured! Here's to GREAT weather, low crowds and good food

I will be running 3 miles, 8 miles and 4 miles while at Disney. I am training for my first Marathon. Not to mention that I will get up Friday morning run 16 then get into the car for the drive down.
