TS credits for CS and QS

Here is where I need some help. My family are big on sit down, full on meals while on vacation. I have done the Disney math, and it would be much cheaper for us to do DxDDP on our next trip than to pay out of pocket for all the places we want to try. The only issue is, we have two kids, and as any parent knows, sometimes things just don't go according to plan.
So in the event of us having to cancel a ressie at the last moment, would we be able to use a TS credit for a CS or a QS?
I'm a super anal planner, I mean I don't even have real set in stone dates yet, but still... the question haunts me! lol

Credits on the Deluxe Dining Plan are not specific to TS or QS they can be used in either location, basically one credit is one credit.

PP is correct. When on the deluxe plan you can use your credits for either or.

However I must say if you are purchasing the plan, in order to get your money's worth you will need to eat at least 2 sit down meals. With little ones that can be difficult.

So you may want to rethink the TS you want to try and only do some, going with the regular plan (which is 1 TS, 1 CS, 1 Snack).

Luckily, my kids are old enough to be able to handle 3 sit downs a day, but I always like to plan for that "what if" factor. What if one of us is sick, what if it's just a really bad day and we are all on the verge of meltdowns (adults included lol), plus we will be doing some dinner shows and CRT as well, so we will make nice use of the DxDDP.

or you can try this. my kids are 7 & 5 both boys. we are going with the dxdplan too bc we love to relax ..digest...and savor our food when we eat. but kids dont. but i always bring stuff...junk you can say for them to keep themselves busy. afterall, if you look at it...you are the one planning it and you should be the one enjoying it! we all got to eat! lol....good luck!
