TS Choices - Changing My Mind

Planning on going to WDW this Aug w/ DH42, DD8, DS6 & DD5.

This time we are using the DDP. We don't always use it.

Staying 5D/4 Nights so I have 4 TS.

1. Chef Mickey's (MK)
2. Coral Reef (Epcot)
3. Mama Melrose Fatasmic Dinner Package (DHS)
4. O'Hanna (MK)

We have eaten at all these TS locations and loved them. So it good ole realiable. BUT I thought MAYBE I should try a NEW place.

What TS choice would you recommend?
And which would you change it for?

I want to get a place that I get the most my $. TS that are not as expensive, I will save to eat there on another trip when not on DDP.

Last trip we did Wispering Cayon Cafe & Princess Storybook (Not on the DDP) so I don't want go there again on this trip.

I'm also thinking of changing Coral Reef for Cape May Dinner Buffet (we also love this place). I'm going back and forth. Any thoughts?

The last day I wasn't planning on doing a TS due time & money (Out of Pocket). BUT once again I'm going back in forth.


We will be at Epcot. Lots of choice there...

• Should I eat @ Coral Reef & order inexpensive items? Or share?
• Do Princess Storybook (even thought I just did it)? It's good princess interaction.
• Just do Counter Service such as Lotus, Yakotori or Sunshine Grill?
• OR least desirable but least expensive
  eat @ Food Court @ POR(Riverside)?

Thought I had it all decided but now don't know so much.

Any thoughts?

The Cape May Dinner Buffet is awesome! All you can eat crab legs is a plus and the other food selections there are good too. I would go there instead of Coral Reef.

Lots of nice Counter Service at Epcot, Yakitori is one of my favorites, Sunshine Grill has lots of nice options. I would do one of those on the Epcot day. If you share a counter service earlier in the week, you could have a counter service credit to use on this day.


We really didn't enjoy Coral Reef, so I would choose Cape May personally

I say go for something new!!! We like to try at least 2-3 new resturants with every visit. There are just so many places to eat I personally couldn't imagine just going to the same places every time I visit. That being said, I would go for Cape May to try something new. It was one of the "new" places on our last trip and we really enjoyed it plus you could go to Epcot that day and walk over to the BC for something different.

What about Tutto Italia in Epcot? It's one of our favorites & a great use of a TS credit, since the entrees are VERY expensive. Food is delicious, btw!

Tutto is a fantastic TS, it is somewhere I will dine using the DDP because it is costly for oop.
Biergarten is also very good and fun entertainment.

I would do Cape May instead of Mama Melrose & then just take my chances with the crowd for F! but that's just because I don't love the food at MM.

You have 3 kids who can only choose from the kids' menu at sit-down restaurants but are allowed to eat anything they like at buffets. To me, that makes a buffet a much better economic value.

So my recommendation would be to
1. Keep CM - classic Disney, Fab 5, OK food
2. substitute Biergarten for Coral Reef - still in Epcot, more food choices for the kids
3. substitute Cape May for Mama Melrose - can take boat to/from DHS, buffet again means better choices for the kids
4. keep 'Ohana - loff this restaurant.
