We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge and are looking to have a pretty big breakfast before heading off to Blizzard Beach. Although Whispering Canyon serves breakfast, I don't think I can deal with the "antics" so early in the morning. Also, prefer a buffet with more variety. I'm looking for a TS that is not too hard to get to and then easy to get to Blizzard Beach. I was thinking of Trails End - boat to Fort Wilderness then bus to Blizzard Beach. What are your thoughts on Crystal Palace and Tusker House? For Crystal Palace, we could take the boat to MK but it would be hard to get to Blizzard Beach after that. For Tusker House, we can take the bus from AK to BB? TIA

I would go to either Chef Mickey's, 1900 or Cape May or Boma since your going to BB.

Kona would be a good option or 1900 park fare and take their bus to Blizzard Beach. We are doing both when we stay @ Wilderness Lodge I can't wait.l I feel the same way about Whispering Canyon, I am not a morning person so antics would not humor me. Good Luck w/ your decision.

Thanks for the quick reply. Would love to go to 1900 Park Fare. Is there an easy way to get to GF from WL? Do we have to take the boat to MK then the monorail?

I would take a cab. But you can take the bus to the MK then get on the monarail to the GF. Also if you don't want a buffet Kona is the best breakfast in Disney.

If you are not on the Dining Plan and you are paying out of pocket, Trails End is definitely the best value.

1st, my thoughts on CP & TH is that TH is much better for breakfast. (I don't know about the other meals.) 2nd, I don't think either would be convenient on a water park day.

1900 PF would be a great choice. To get there take the boat to CR, then take the monorail to GF. I agree that TE is a good OOP option, if that's what you're looking for. Otherwise, I'd go with Ohana (family style) or 1900 PF.

I'll be at the WL Monday. I called the front desk for info on their boat service to the CR. It begins at 6:45 am. I have a 7:30 am ADR at Ohanas and was told the best way to get there is to catch that first boat to the CR then take the monorail over to the Poly. It should be a 30 min trip more or less. The GF would be the next stop so add 5 more mins.

I second Kona for a quiet adult, hearty breakfast. If you're heading to the GF, we prefer the GF Cafe over 1900 Park Fare. It's quiet and has much better food.

I was thinking the same thing. Take the boat to CR & the monorail to breakfast. If it was us, I'd do 1900 Park Fare before going to a water park. They have a great selection of lighter (i.e. smoked salmon) & heavy breakfast options. (I applaud you b/c you're much braver than I am. On our water park day, I was thinking more along the lines of a light breakfast smoothie & a small pastry, lol.)

All three resorts on the monorail line have restaurants that serve a nice breakfast. Kona Cafe is always a popular option, and it deserves its reputation. I also suggest considering the Grand Floridian Cafe. The menu is creative, and it's in a pretty and intimate setting. There are lots of big windows allowing sunlight inside. It resembles a solarium at a quaint inn.

Need some advice

Planning on going to both waterparks
One on Wed July14th and the other on Thurs July 15th

We have breakfast ADR at 1900 Park Fare on Wed at 10
And TL has EMH on Wed and BB has EMH on thurs

Should we avoid EMH day? If we had breakfast on Wed then go to a waterpark will it be closed to capacity? Is BB more likely to close than TL?

Any suggestions?
