Basically this is my plan for our vacation for my best friend and myself- as quick movers and as a kidless duo- we're going to take advantage of that and squeeze in both of our 'dream resorts' on the first and last night of the trip as a surprise. Let me know if this makes sense from a ticket/dining plan perspective- I haven't attempted this before. This was my original post about trying to decide to do this.

Tuesday February 26th
- no dining plan

Arrive at MCO
Check in at Wilderness Lodge for 1 night
OOP dinner at Artist Point

Wednesday February 27th
- 5 day dining plan

Leave our bags for the bell boys and head to MK for the day
Check in at CBR and spend the next 5 days there- using 5 days of the dining plan over the course of those 5 days

Monday March 4th
-No dining plan again

Leave our bags with bell boys and head to Epcot for the AM
Check in at Beach Club in the afternoon and hang out at hotel for a few hours in the afternoon before going back to Epcot at night
Only do OOP QS meals since we are not on the dining plan anymore

This means I would need to:

1. Book all three hotel reservations
2. Buy 3 separate tickets for each of us? 1 day, 5 days, and 1 day?
3. And add dining to our 5 day ticket

Is this all correct? It's confusing when you're first figuring out how to do these! TIA!

Almost. Except for the ticketing.

It looks like you don't have park plans for your arrival day at WL, so no need for a ticket, and pay OOP for Artist Point.

Then on your package at CBR you would have a 5 night stay, 5 nights worth of DP and 6 day park tickets.

Then on your final day you would just have a room only reservation, no DP and you would still have one park day left on your ticket to use. It will be on the KTTW card from CBR and still valid.

You don't want to buy separate tickets for each resort. VERY expensive if you did that.

Hey minnie mum! Thank you! I actually think we probably will head over to MK for a tiny bit on day one (probably from like 7 to 9 just to see electromagic and wishes) so I should do 7 days right? I think that makes a lot more sense what you're telling me- haha that would have been super expensive to do them all separate- I understand now! :)

Thanks for correcting me. So basically book all three hotels, a 7 day park hopper, and then add the dining plan to my 5 night reservation at CBR right?

Thank you!!! :)

yes, a 7 day PH that is attached to your CBR vacation package. You would have to pick up your park ticket one day earlier than that reservation though. See Cheshire Figments very long and exhaustive stickey on WDW tickets. There is a procedure to go through that will enable you to pick up your park tickets up to 3 days before you check in (in this case to CBR). You can't do this at your resort though, but it has to be done at a Guest Relations outside the parks (MK in this case). Good luck and have a wonderful trip.

ETA: Here's a link to that sticky. The section you want to look at is 15 I. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1452684

A couple notes about the dining plan.

-If you want to use dining credits on the day your CBR res starts, you will need to go over to CBR and check in to get your KTTW cards because they will have your dining plan credits on them.

-Any leftover dining credits will be good on your CBR check out day until 11:59PM.

Thank you Kim!!! These were my exact questions! :) Thank you- I appreciate it!
