Trying to unconfuse myself...

Currently have 1 Bedroom booked at BLT for 5 days using all of 2015 points and 60 points left from 2014. I think I may want to change to the quieter OKW for the space and just to relax..... I know I cant do this online without cancelling and rebooking because the 2014 points will go into holding? I have an August use year. Or if it said I have till March to bank them should online be okay?

It if is NOT okay....can Member services do this for me without the points going into holding.....I hope I am making sense.

I really am considering this because I want to downgrade the amount of days and points so I can bank most of 2015 into 2016 for a different trip.

Nevermind! Nerves of steel here just cancelled and rebooked. 2014 banked points went into 2015 use year no problem....

An FYI - points only go into holding when you cancel 30 days or less prior to check in of your reservation. If you cancel 31 days or more out from the check in then the points go back into the UY they were in (which in cases of banked or borrowed they would stay in the year you had banked or borrowed them into). And if you are still within your UY banking window and they have not been banked before you could bank.
