Trying to surprise family

It's a long story, so I will just give the basics:

Family knows that we are going to WDW
I switched from the POP to CBR ( to surprise my family) and my credit card company ratted me out by notifying my DH of possible fraud.

We are booked at CBR. DH knows and DD does not know. BUT, I do want to surprise them as much as possible...so I said to DH, that I would switch back to POP.

How do I have a resort reservation that is linked to my MDE but NOT have it appear on DH's MDE account and DD needs to learn how to navigate the MDE app, so that she can change her FP as needed. So, I will be setting up a MDE account for her. She will be with us, but doing MK with her Bf...This is my dilemma. DH never sees the bills, so I can keep it on the credit card.

If you invite them to connect you have a choice of sharing "All Plans" or "Only Shared Plans" but there is no options for not sharing any plans at all.

Phooey!!! Thank you Kirk for reminding me that I can share some plans but not all. I fear that I will not be able to surprise now. I am wondering if I can get set up fake accounts for them, sort of like duplicates, but not share my MDE info with them...I've got work to do. You have given me an idea Kirk

Are you aware that CBR is about to enter a period of major construction. Personally I wouldn't stay there right now.

We love CBR! Our trip is not until Aug, so I have plenty of time to change if need be. But, thank you for your concern. Have you heard anything bad so far??

At that point NO Old Port Royale from everything we've heard. Translation NO food court at the very least. They're going to do some kind of LIMITED something, but nothing like a full food court at all. And that's not even getting into their DEMOLISHING Barbados and I think part of Martinique. This is not a little simple room renovation project. This is a MASSIVE undertaking that is going to disrupt the normal functioning of the resort (IMHO - they swear it's not) for a long time to come - and will likely be in full swing by August.

I adore CBR and consider it my Disney home... But I'm staying at Pop for my August visit.

I suspect it'll be a surprise all right...just most likely NOT a good one.
