Trying to start planning a Disney Wedding

I was wondering if anyone knew any cheaper ways to get married at the Disney World? All the stuff I've seen was for wedding parties of 18 or less. I want the option to invite 75 people. Does anyone have any ideas?

Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding!

The package for 18 or less guests is the Escape package. For 75 guests you would need to look into the Wishes package.

The minimum spends required depends on what day and time you get married and range from $10,000 to $25,000.

I guess keeping it low would depend on your budget, im only having 15 people (UK bride) so will br trying not to spend any more than $10,000.

You've gotten some good info. I will add that different days of the week and different months have lower minimums. If you are trying to stick to a 10k minimum or 15 k minimum, be sure that you select a time of year that will allow that. I am looking at a Sat. in November and the minimum is 25k.

Another idea, I considered, but ultimately decided against, is to have a wedding at a Downtown Disney hotel or at the Swan or Dolphin. You could still do a "Grand Gathering" or a dessert party (not in bridal wear) but the wedding itself would be cheaper. There's an outdoor area at the S/D and several convention rooms. It's not the same as a Disney Wedding, but for some it might be the right option.
