My DD's fave princess is Belle. She is going to bring her Belle dress and wear it at one of the Princess meals. She also would like to get dolled up at the BBB.

Ideally we want to either go to BBB first of the day, and then have a meal with the princesses (lunch?) so then she can change for the rest of the day into something more comfortable. OR we can do BBB later in the afternoon so she can change then and then go directly over to a Princess Dinner.

What is my best plan of attack? I can't decide which meal, what time of day etc to organize this?

thk u!!! This is our first trip (can you tell?) and I am super overwhelmed (it doesn't help that I only have a month to plan!)

Staying offsite
Will have Military 5 day pass (with park hopper????)

If Belle is her favorite, I would do Norway. Belle was the princess who greeted us and you get a photo package with the princess who is doing the greetings. It is less expensive than eating in the castle, too. There will be other princesses there too.

also go to Storytime with Belle - our first trip was complete half an hour into it when both girls were picked to be in the play wiht Belle!

A month...yikes....however, breathe deep all will be wonderful!

Call for BBB reservations toot sweet and work your dining plans around that....be flexible on your days if you can and you may have to call and call to get an appt, but if at first you don't succeed, keep trying, you never know what will open up...I think availability constantly changes!!!

I had to call several times before I could get an am appt in the castle for BBB...we have lunch reservations at the castle, and will be done up first thing in the am.....I have read they tend to get behind the later in the day it is.

There is also a BBB at DTD that could be a great option, especially if you have a car to make getting from point A to point B easier. Also, if dd is a Belle fan, consider dining at Akershus in Norway...there are a pile of friendly princesses and a complimentary photo package...with Belle in her yellow ballgown!!!

You call the 407-WDW-DINE number, same for dining reservations.

Hope you have a great trip and get a great appt at BBB!

WE have had breakfast at Akersus three times and she has been there to greet us everytime. That would be your surest bet. Have a great time!

Thanks all! Ok, so how would I plan the logistics....go to BBB at DTD and then drive over to Epcot to do the Norway bfast/lunch? I just don't know where everything is, so not sure how I would plot it out.

Definitely do Storytime with Belle at the Magic Kingdom in addition to the Princess Breakfast in Epcot. We went last week and got there 15 minutes ahead of time. Once the 3-4 rows filled up, they closed it off. There are around 4-5 shows a day and there is a meet and greet with Belle at the end.

Ok, so I called WDW and they were very helpful with the logistics of it all :) We have an appt at DTD at 12:30 to get her dolled up and then the Storybook Luncheon at 2:50 at Epcot/Norway.

The rep seemed to think we'd have plenty of time to do the BBB and then get back over to Epcot with these appt times. What do you guys think? Also, do we drive, or are there trams/buses to take back and forth between DTD and Epcot?

See, this really IS my first time! LOL I plan to buy the unoffical guide book today to read up on it all, but until then, I'm kind of all over the place! I mainly was just worried about getting the reservations taken care of early enough.

I also joined touringplans.com and hope to get on that and figure stuff out too.

I think this may be it for "plans" - maybe one more b'fast or dinner with some main characters, but not sure. I don't want to make myself crazy with a schedule when I don't know where I'm going or what I'm doing!

That will be plenty of time. BBB really only takes like 20 minutes. From DTD to Epcot is not that far. You might have to catch a bus to the TTC and monorail it to Epcot from there. Otherwise, you'll have to take a bus from DTD to a close hotel and then take a bus from that hotel to Epcot. The transportation will take you more time than the BBB! Always does ;) If you are running late, you can always take a cab. It's a good 20 minute walk from the front of Epcot to Akershus when you are walking with kiddos (it's about a mile) so plan on being at Epcot by 2:15ish and you'll be fine.

My only other advice is to make an ADR for every day if you want to eat a TS meal at least once per day. You will NOT be able to walk up and get a seat without a really long wait. Most places are completely booked months in advance and you won't get in at all. You can always cancel the ADR if you decide against it.
