Problem #1: Park hours problem. Who do I trust? More than one trip planning website is saying AK closes at 7:00 pm during our trip. Disney says 8:00 pm.

Problem #2: When will ROL and SWG days and times be posted for January?

How is a person suppose to make plans with incomplete info?!

Just a rant. Thanks for listening!

#1 Disney. They get lots wrong on their site but hours is one thing they keep right

In our experience the true park hours are not confirmed until the middle of the previous month, every year they change the opening/closing hours messing up ADR's and fastpasses, I have a few more grey hairs every year by the time we actually arrive :sad2:

Yep. We arrive in 2 weeks and they just changed hours for our dates last week

The only thing to note is they didn't move the times for the shows on the schedule. They did add more shows at AK though

Every year I expect it, and yet it still frustrates me. We have to overbook on ADR's (a bone of contention for some people on here) and cancel accordingly as they release the final park hours/parade and show times etc.

Always go by Disney's hours.
You can get a relative idea of sowtimes by looking a the current times. Of course, as with all things Disney, those are subject to change as well.

#1 - If Disney's hours are longer than those posted on unofficial sites, you can trust Disney. They often add hours at the last minute (relatively speaking) but very, very rarely take them away. Same with showtimes for most evening shows - adding second shows is common, changing the times of already-scheduled shows is less so.

Now, if the unofficial sites have longer hours than Disney's site, you have to proceed with caution because it is likely that the unofficial site is projecting final park hours, based on past years and predicted crowd levels, and Disney may or may not change the hours in the way the planning sites are guessing they will.

#2 - I'd love to know this myself!
