I am looking for suggestions on how to plan a trip from YLW to SNA. SO far booking a package from Westjet seems to be the best deal. Booking flights and hotel separate seems to be alot more.

Best place for hopper tickets?

Any other tips?

I don't know much about Kelowna but do you have a Flight Centre? My husband and I used them to book our trip to DL from Victoria and he helped us save so much money! You don't pay any extra for them and they are super great! We are using them for everything now!

I found the opposite, booking separately was way cheaper. We went in November 2013 and flew from YVR although we live in Victoria, just got a great deal on flights with AC. Also got a super sale with the Ramada Maingate across from Disneyland. Five full days (6 nights) for $1500 CAD with airfare. Free DL park hoppers from Airmiles.

When are you looking at going?
Have you checked out travel best bets? This is from their website for deals for the next couple of months:

For the past two trips to DL we have gotten our park hoppers from Airmiles (if we have enough) and from cheaptickets.ca, shopping through ebates.ca When I got tickets for our most recent trip doing that I had enough airmiles for 1 adult 3 day park hopper and then I bought the rest of the tix through cheaptickets and made nearly $80 cash back from ebates.

We've done the BC - DL trip 8 times so far and I booked everything separately after the first trip. I found that I could get a much better deal for the exact flights we wanted. I do try and book as many things via Canadian sites so the exchange does not kill me but I always check US sites and do the conversion to see if the price is better even with the terrible exchange.

For hoppers, I prefer to get them through Airmiles if I have enough but if not, I check the following:

Flightcentre.ca - they charge in CAD so no exchange to worry about.
expedia.ca - same as FC.
orbitz.com - they are in USD so you need to check the exchange but they often have a buy 3 days, get 4th free and buy 4 days, get 5th free which can sometimes make up for the exchange, especially if you go via ebates.ca and get some $$ back.
way.com - they are also in USD and you do need to call to order but we were able to get a pretty good deal on passes a couple of years ago so I keep checking there.
