I'm trying to plan a quick girl's trip to Disney over our Spring Break - which runs March 20-28th. I have some questions....(sorry, I haven't been to Disneyland since 1987....)

1) If we were to fly, which airport is best to fly into?

2) How do we get from airport to hotel (and back)?

3) I am planning our park days to be Tues/Wed/Thur (23rd/24th/25th). Is there a website that predicts crowd levels? I am thinking it may not be too crazy that week, as their motel rates go up on March 28th when they also black out the buy 5 nights/get 3 free) which I assume means they plan for higher attendance.

4) Is three days enough to do the 2 parks if we have hoppers? If we fly, we could do 4 days with one day being shorter. But, to save a lot of $$$ we are considering driving the 13-15 hours (so Mon/Fri would be driving days). We are trying to avoid weekends/weekend AP crowds.

5) If we decided to do a 4th day, how is Knottsberry Farm? It'd be, for sure, my mom, me, and 7 year old girl.

6) Best way to do hotel & tix? Package or go separately? I can get tix for $149 at my local grocery (no tax, I live in oregon). Can the travel agents do the good neighbor hotels? (I want to charge to my Disney Visa to get the 6 month 0% interest).

7) Are there any Disney Visa discounts out there now for Disneyland?

Thanks a ton for any help!
Samantha

Just so you are aware, the Rivers of America are drained until May. No Mark Twain, SS Columbia, Pirates Lair on TSI, DC Canoes or Fantasmic show.

The closest and easiest is SNA. See "Airport Proximity to DLR and Ground Transportation Information" by 3TinksAndAnEeyore www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2318297

No website to predict crowd levels. When DL has maxed out hours 8AM-Midnight then they are expecting it to be crowded. It will probably be pretty crowded when you are there but going mid-week will help some. Have a good plan and I am sure you will have a blast.

Three days is considered the minimum. Four days is better. It depends on how you tour. Do you get to the parks early each day?

5) If we decided to do a 4th day, how is Knottsberry Farm? It'd be, for sure, my mom, me, and 7 year old girl.
Sorry I have not done KBF in 25 years. Someone else can answer better. If it were me I would spend the fourth day at DLR and not consider KBF unless I had extra days past that.

Mt experience is that buying hotel and tix separately is usually a better deal than getting a package.

We are going as well the 20th thru the 25th, we are also from oregon and we are driving!
