Trying to Plan a Honeymoon...

Hey guys! I'm brand spanking new to the forums!

My fiance and I are trying to plan a honeymoon in Disney World! I'm about to graduate college, he's a grad school student.

I'm hoping someone here can help me! I want a package that gets me the cute Disney things- a Disney tote bag with fun things, etc. I've been looking at the Honeymoon Escape Packages.

Here is my dilemma- Tim and I are obviously not rolling in the money and we've never booked a vacation, let alone a honeymoon!

Does anyone know if I can get the fun honeymoon things if I book with a 3rd party thing? Perhaps by getting tickets and a hotel deal online? Or do I need to call Disney and ask them? I'm so frustrated with trying to figure all this out, I'd be forever grateful if anyone could give a bride-to-be some advice! Thank you!!!

Hi!! Welcome and congrats!! You could start by getting a quote from disney online...pick all the things that you want and then see how much it comes out to be...are you wanting to stay in a resort or offsite? Also I would call a travel agent, see what they can tell you...give your info, how much you can spend etc...as far as the fun little honeymoon stuff (tote bags etc) even if you don't get those things, you can wear the wedding ears while at the parks as well as the "just married" buttons you get at guest services, and you never know what sort of little perks you may receive! Disney is really great about acknowledging the ears!!! I'm not sure we are getting any honeymoon extras...I mean we booked through Disney and everything, but I don't think we got a "honeymoon" package perse... man if I booked myself out of free disney stuff

YAYYY For the ears!! I definitely wanted to make sure I got a pair of ears. I'm so stressed out- I ordered my dress and it was about THREE sizes too big, and we need so many things for the wedding still- I just want to have SOMETHING all settled, and the honeymoon is definitely gonna be the best part of this whole ordeal (oh yeah, spending the rest of my life with the guy, blah blah blah ) I just want to make sure we get the honeymoon right!! Hehe.

Hi and welcome to the boards. First off you have already started to make the honeymoon right by being in Disney. One of the most magical places on earth!!! Defeinately make sure to get the ears and don't forget the buttons too!

Haha my fiance asked where I wanted to go and I immediately said "Disney World". I knew I made the right choice when he said "COOL!"

I'm gonna try to call today (on top of the 800 other things I have to do) and see what I can do- hopefully everything isn't all booked up (I freak out a lot, haha)
