Hi! I hope this is a good board to ask this question, but if not, let me know and I'll try again somewhere else.
I'm trying to pick a wedding date for a 2009 WDW wedding. I live in San Francisco, and overall, the weather here doesn't change a whole lot, so I've become accustomed to it. If it gets into the 80s, I'm sweltering!! So all those months where it gets into the 90s and above are automatically out for me.
The day we picked is April 1st, 2009, but I just looked up holidays for 2009 and saw that Easter falls on April 12 that year, which puts us smack dab in the middle of spring break! How bad are the crowds then? I suspect they're pretty bad, which is making me rethink our decision. Can anyone tell me at what point after Easter the crowds ease up?
Another time we're considering is Christmas time, because I love the holidays at WDW. But I'm not sure when all the decorations and the Spectacle of lights go up. Can someone tell me approximately when? I'm hoping it's before Thanksgiving, but I'm not sure.
Does anyone have a favorite time of year, other than Christmas, when the weather is on the cooler side?
Thanks in advance!!
