I've been checking weather.com and local6.com like a lunatic and still don't know what to pack. At this point, I'm leaning towards more long pants and maybe only 1 or 2 pairs of shorts. For all of you in Orlando...what are you wearing?

I am right there with you. We are leaving in a week and I don't know what to pack either. Right now I have 2 pairs of jeans, 2 capris and 2 shorts. I am bringing jeans and shorts for the kids too, sweatshirts and long sleeve shirts too. I guess alittle bit of everyting.

melanie18 & jpmom97,

You need to pack for warm and cold weather, I'm in North Florida or about 2 hours from WDW it can be 70 during the day and close to or freezing at night and in a.m.

We were there in December. The temperatures look like they will be about the same as then. We wore pants everyday with sweatshirts in the morning & at night. I don't think you'll need the shorts.

Hi all! We just got back. We wore shorts and actually swam a few days! Mornings and evenings were very cool, but midday was nice - not hot - but nice! Utilize the lockers at the parks! We'd bring heavy sweatshirts in the morning, store them in the lockers at lunchtime, then get them out in the evening!

The lockers are $7.00 to rent, but they give you back $5.00 when you hand in the key. So for two bucks - it is worth it!

DH wore shorts everyday! But me and the kids wore long pants, sandals, and T-shirts.

Have fun! We had a great time - and wish the same for you!

I agree with Harambe (do you believe its all over?? :( , hope you guys had a great time!). We too just returned and here is how we dressed. First thing in the morning, shorts and sweatshirt. Came back in the afternoon and swam every day. It was a little chilly getting out of the pool, but so worth it to swim in the heated pool. Evenings changed to jeans and a sweatshirt. Worked perfectly like this every day. have fun!

Based on the weather reports and reading other posts, I was convinced that I was only bringing 1 pair of shorts with me. Now I'm beginning to think I need more!

I don't like to lug any more than I absolutely have to into the parks, so I think we're going to stick with jeans when we head out in the morning because no matter how "warm" it gets midday, shorts would be mightly chilly on DD3 in the morning. We're also not ones to go back to the room midday for the sole purpose of changing. We can always layer t-shirts and light jackets.

Who would have thought that packing could be so hard?

I'll add my 2 cents, about all I have.

We have gone in January and we were at BB one morning and it was 85 and the next morning in MK my wife was buying gloves to wear because it was about 30 out.

Just remember coming from the north, we will be swimming when it is 70 out because it feels so warm to us while local residents with be in jackets.

We will probably have 70s during the day, so shorts, jeans & short sleeve shirts. But in the evening jeans and sweats. You also might want to throw in a jacket and poncho as they are calling for rain.

I share your pain. Not sure of the other posters dates. Mine are 1/30-2/6 and I just checked the long range forecast. While it was running pretty good (low 70s) until this morning....crash.....Now the weather forecast for my trip in one week, the weather is showing low 60s (lots of rain and clouds) and that's the HIGH. Oh well. We went one year this time and it was cold, rainy (a very cold almost sleet type rain) and barely 50s, then went the next year, same time and it was 80s. So all I plan to do is wait up until a couple of days before, probably wed/thur next week and see if it changes....I have my fingers cross. I would take a sunny 70 high day, over what they are predicting. I went to the WDWIG.com site and checked the weather for the next 15 days....ugh.
