Hi, everyone! I'm planning my husband and my first visit to Disney World this September (13th - 18th). It's just the two of us, we don't have any kids. We'll be celebrating a few different things. We'll be there for my husband's birthday, our 5th wedding anniversary, and my birthday lies in the week after our departure. Plus, we'll be celebrating our first visit to 'the World'...
We'll be able to make our ADRs very soon, and I'm thinking I have it narrowed down, but would like some input from people who have eaten at these places. We're also doing the Deluxe Dining Plan.
For my husband's birthday, I'm thinking Le Cellier. I've heard it's a great steakhouse, and he definitely loves steak.
For our anniversary, I'm thinking The California Grill.
Other restaurants I'm thinking of trying are: Teppan Edo, Nine Dragons, Jiko or Boma.
The above would be for dinner. For lunch I'm not as concerned about it, but to sort of celebrate my birthday early I'd like to have some great Italian food, which is my favorite. What is the best Italian restaurant? I've heard mixed reviews about Tutto Italia. So what do you think is the best? Tutto, Tony's Town Square, or Mama Melrose's?
What other restaurants would you say are good ideas for lunch? Also, we're staying that the French Quarter, and heard that the restaurant there isn't so great. Which is a shame, because we had hoped to eat at our own resort at least once, but is it worth it?
Our hopeful plans for the days are...
Light Breakfast.
Play, play, play!
Small snack
Play, play, play!
Lunch (Table service or counter service)
Maybe a water ride like Splash Mountain or Kali River Rapids (If in the area.)
Back to the hotel for a shower, quick change of clothes/nap, back to parks.
Small snack.
Play, play, play!
Dinner (Table service)
Catch either a show, non-thrill ride, or fireworks.
Wander around Downtown Disney or catch some ExMH if available.
Back to hotel to start all over.

but I have heard really good things about Il Mulino in the Swan Hotel (also located right outside of EPCOT and Hollywood Studios). It is a famous restaurant in NY and they opened a branch down in Florida.
