trying to make it all fit (help)

does anyone know how long pirate and palls actually takes?
we have a day planned a magic kingdom march 11th, and the original plan was just hit the park. then we added pirates and palls and now so we don't have to drive three hours that evening we booked a room.

so now the plan is check in super early even if we can't get in room just to get everything set. then head to MK for early magic hours spend the day at the park then around 7:40 make our way to contemporary and do pirate and palls cruise, now we are trying to see if time wise we might can get back into MK after pirate and palls is over and get a few night photos. and then with or without that head to our room and order pizza!!

pirate and palls starts at 8:45 we just aren't sure how long it lasts, and the park closes at 11pm
if we can't make it back in for some main street night pics thats okay just trying to see if it can be done

I found a link HERE with a good review... based on his experiences and some guestimations I would say you'd probably be done Pirates and Pals at about 10:30 or 10:45. If you make the walk back to Magic Kingdom quickly you might be able to get in right before close to grab some nighttime photos but I wouldn't guarantee it. HTH

We did Pirate and Pals a few weeks ago. Fireworks were at 8, and the time stamp on our picture with Peter Pan says 8:29. So we were totally done 30 minutes after fireworks. We were the second group to meet him, as we were in the front row on the boat. If you were towards the end of the line, I'm sure it would add at least 15-20 minutes, putting it closer to an hour after fireworks when you're totally done. There's also 2 boats... I think our boat met Peter Pan first. So if you're on the second boat it may be even later.
