Trying to get Sci-Fi Res

While everyone else is trying for BOG or CRT, I'm struggling with a Sci-Fi res! I have a party of 5. I guess odd numbers at Sci-Fi are more difficult because of the cars. I'm tempted to book for a party of 4, and try to add the 5th later. My youngest is tiny, so do you think they would let us squeeze her in? Or should I just keep checking back at 6am every day?

I lucked into a dinner res at BOG AND a lunch at CRT, so I can't really complain too much we don't get Sci-Fi.

I can get res for party of 3 and a party of 2. Should I do two separate ressies and ask that they seat us close together (realizing, of course, that it might not happen)? Hmmm, what to do, what to do...

I would do the 2 ADRs, that is what I usually do when travelling with extended family. They always manage to seat us close by. I had to do that this trip as well and did 2 tables of 4.

Try searching for 6.

Everyone in your group needs to be on the res so try looking for 6. It is always easier to show up with fewer than to try and add someone extra when you check in. While Castmembers will do their best to fit the extra person in, there is always the slim chance that because of the fire code or other issue your 5th person won't be seated if you only have a res for 4.

You can also keep the reservations for 3 and 2 and request that you be seated together. You may have to wait longer, but at least you know that everyone will be seated.

I bet it would... We've had 5 at Sci and we ended up sharing a car with 2 more people that came halfway through our meal...

Some times miraculously opened up this afternoon! I got my Sci-Fi res of for 5. Persistence pays off!
