Delta moved my flight in September up two hours and any option I can do to change it on my own isn't acceptable. If I call it's a two hour wait. They don't respond to a Facebook direct message or to the chat on their own site. Any idea how to get in touch with this company now?

This is the recommendation on FT. Up to you if it's worth it.
Singapore Reservations Line often can be reached with little to no hold time.
+65-6336-3371

Suggestion to use Skype or Google Voice - both offer rates of 1 cent per minute.

It's been 2 hours at 6:30 a.m. and 11 p.m. I was hoping those would be decent times to try.

I thought about going to the airport in town. I may end up trying that.

Thank you for the suggestions.

A few months ago I waited on the phone for 3 hours because I couldn't make my change online. While I waited, I got a few other things done around the house. Once I spoke to a rep, I think I had my issue resolved and was off the phone with her in less than 3 minutes. Whew! Good luck!

I have no suggestion on how to get around the long wait time, but in the last year I've had several instances of having to wait multiple hours to get through to various companies. Speakerphone is your friend! Or an earpiece. I would just sit the phone beside me and get on with other things until they actually answered.

I actually called the Delta line at 4:30 am and booked our flights. With little wait and flight prices were actually $30 less per seat!!

Good to know that should work. Hopefully I find an easier way though.

Nearly the same I experienced a few weeks ago 😆

Needed to call JetBlue after they made changes, said 90 min wait. They answered around 120 mins. Resolved in 5 minutes. In the meantime wrote up 2 estimates, checked out the DIS, started dinner. Just left the call on speaker… c'est la vie.

Wait a day or two until the phone traffic dies down?....I did have a friend who used to call an international number and then ask for an English speaking representative.

Waiting a couple days doesn't seem to have made a difference. I placed a call and got the same "wait time will be less than two hours" message. I walked away and came back an hour 16 minutes later. To my surprise, the call was still connected. At one hour 43 minutes so far now. Hopefully they pick up before I need to sleep.

Hopefully this works, or else it is going to the airport or calling in the middle of the night or calling SIngapore. I don't really care to just accept the credit for the future flight for something that is Delta's fault.

Since I know you all want the play-by-play I just passed two hours. On the plus side, taking care of me is at the center of all they do according to the automated message.

From The Points Guy:

Best phone number: 1-800-323-2323

Say “existing reservation,” and then key in your SkyMiles number. If you don’t have a reservation, say, “I don’t have it,” and you’ll be transferred to an agent. Like with American, you’ll then be given the option to receive a call back instead of waiting on hold.

Alternatively, if you head to the Delta App, scroll to the “contact us” option under the “more” option on the bottom right corner of the app screen. You have the ability to message Delta for a quick text communication.

2 hours and 34 minutes now at 11:45 p.m. Time to give this up and try another method. So much for less than two hours.
