I am trying to use up air miles on Alaska and we will be in Orlando to see family for a few weeks before cruising out of Miami on DCL. There are no dates available into Orlando for the amount of miles/tickets I need, but I can fly into Tampa or Palm Beach.
That being said, rental cars out of Orlando are considerably cheaper (I would need one for 2 plus weeks and eventually dropping off in Miami or near there).
How should I work this? Originally I was going to fly into Orlando, rent a car for the majority of the time and return there and do a one day rental to Miami. I will have just me and 3 kids, 2 in car seats, one in a booster, so I'm not really wanting to switch cars twice. (I day rental to Orlando, 1 2-3 week rental, 1 day rental to Miami).
Any ideas?
