Trying to decide.....

on which moderate to stay. We are a family of 4. DH and myself and 2 DS's (will be 10 and almost 5 at time of trip)

Will any of them be better for the kids or for mom and dad?

This is not our first trip to Disney World, but it is our first on site stay. (we have family nearby)

Please help us with our decision. Thanks

The only moderate that I've stayed at is CSR and I loved it. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, but my kids are little (3, 18 mos, 1 mos), so the busses are too much for us right now. We stayed there a few years ago because my DH had a convention there. The resort is very peaceful in the mornings. I would walk around the lake, grab some coffee and a muffin at the little shop they had there. The busses were convenient to take and they only serviced this resort, so not overly crowded. Now for your family, the pool is probably tops on the list! It's pretty nice and was never too crowded while I was there. They have a great playground area next to the pool and a good slide. Pepper Market is unique and offers a variety of food for everyone. I never ate at the restaurant there, but it looked good. The rooms seemed a little dark to me, but they were clean. The CMs were all very friendly and helpful. As far as conventioneers go, they were busy during the day and it never seemed overrun with them. There were several groups while we were there. There is a website out there dedicated to CSR, but I'm not sure what the address is. I hope you enjoy your trip. I've found that every resort I've stayed at I've loved for different reasons. I'm sure you will too!

CBR is my favorite moderate. I really felt like I was on an island somewhere. The theming is great, the rooms are large and recently renovated, and the buses were great. We also enjoyed POR, but I didn't really care for the theme. I've never tried CSR.

We have stayed at all of the moderate resorts. We too are a family of four. My two DS are 10 yrs and 16 months. Our favorite resort is POR. My 10 yr old is an arcade buff, and he swears by POR's arcade. We also really enjoy the theming here, my 10 year old says it makes him feel like Tom Sawyer! (We usually stay in Alligator Bayou) The atmosphere here is just really relaxed and romantic. Oh, and they also have a great sit-down restaurant that is not too expensive, Boatwrights, and it is GREAT! No matter where you stay, you will have a good time. Hope this helps!

We have stayed at both the CBR and POR, you can't go wrong with either resort. We like the CBR the best, but that's just us. We like the atmosphere and the food court is nicer. I wouldn't go to the CSR, its geared more towards adults and business people. Hope this helps.
