We'll either be staying at POR or POP for our Dec. '08 trip.
I'm trying to determine if 1 rook in the AB section of POR would work if we'd be better off booking 2 connecting rooms at POP.
Any of you who have stayed at either, the advice would be greatly appriecated. :confused3
There will be 5 of us. DH and myself plus DS12, DS10 and DS7.

I'm thinking room wise, with kids that are a bit older, the 2 rooms at POP are gonna be the way to go, but I'd love input. :goodvibes

POR is a very nice resort, great food court, surrey bikes, laid back atmosphere. BUT, you have 3 kids and 1 bathroom. If that's not a problem, go for it! At POP, you can do two rooms and get 2 bathrooms. Although, if it were me.....I'd go for POR --and splurge for two rooms! :rotfl: :rotfl:

you might also consider All star music suites.

you might even save some money on food (unless you already have the DDP)- it comes with a kitchennett. plus 2 bathrooms.

besides the kids get to sleep on strange things - chair - loveseat.

I considered those, but everytime I put in any dates around the time we're planning on going, there was nothing available.

Hi
We stayed at Pop this past August. There were 6 of us, my DD, DGD and 3 DNieces and we had connecting rooms. It worked out great. My DNieces are twins 13, and an 11 year old, and they thought it was great having their own bathroom, plus with all the clothes they packed, they had plenty of room.

We stayed at POP in 2005 and are booked there again in Jan with 2 rooms. I would go with 2 rooms at POP- you have much more room and 2 bathrooms and tvs. I would think you would be too cramped in one room at POR.

You could make your alternate reservations (2 rooms at POP or 1 in AB at POR), then keep checking to see if a family suite at ASMu becomes available. Then you would have acceptable lodging booked, but could change if a family suite becomes available.

I would lean toward connecting rooms at POP rather than 1 room at POR, primarily for 2 bathrooms! *LOL*
