Trying to decide for 2018 - SWDAS in April or Merrytime in Early Dec

We are currently booked for SWDAS in April 2018. I was surfing yesterday as I hadn't paid much attention to the winter releases prior and noticed a Merrytime cruise in early Dec 2918 with the same itinerary. We are definitely Star Wars fans but I think a Christmas cruise would be pretty special too.

Which would you choose?

I would stick with the SWDAS if you've never been and are fans. My kids rate our SWDAS last April as their best cruse and best vacation ever. Plus the weather is perfect in April.

We went on a SWDAS Western Caribbean this past Jan. My dh likes Star Wars, my dd and I aren't fans. We only went on it because we live in a cold climate and I really wanted to escape the cold winter weather. The temps were in mid 70s, felt great everywhere we went, but for me the water at cc was too cold. It was also a lot cheaper than the merrytime cruises. SWDAS only has sw activities for one day. I haven't been on a merrytime cruise, but I believe there are holiday activities every day. I would like to go on a merrytime cruise, but I'm nervous to book a cruise during hurricane season. Also, since the water was too cold in early Jan, I'd rather go in the Spring when it's warmer. How about you go on the sw cruise you already have booked and then once on board, book the merrytime cruise. Or go on a merrytime cruise in 2019.
