Trying to decide between lake view and standard view studio at BLT.

What would be the worse room possible for a studio lake view? We had a great view of the marina with the two bedroom last week, but wondering what if that was THE best view. Are there any studios (planning for next year) that you see the lake only if you lean over the railing but it's mostly looking at the pool? We will be borrowing points so want to choose wisely.

I always consider the "lakeview" category at BLT as just being the middle point category which I think was mostly their intent and it just happens that most of the rooms have a view of a lake some direction.

Touringplans has a room finder tool that has lots of pictures of the views submitted by people who have stayed in the rooms. I'd guess that the worst lakeview would be on the lowest floor they have them on the inside of the C where you'd see a lot of the building but you'd see the pool and probably Bay Lake beyond but maybe some of the bamboo blocking it? Or the lowest floor or two of the lakeview category on the north side where there will be trees in the view between you and the lake and you would probably see the housekeeping service area. But you'd also be able to see some of the MK fireworks too.

I know the best ones are (for us) overlooking the contemporary pools/ wharf...its so relaxing sitting there in the afternoon with beverage in hand watching everyone run for the ferry...and we always ask for highest level...but as always YMMV.

whenever we stay at BLT we try for lake view facing the marina

That's the view we had last time and loved it. I'm more concerned with getting a pool view on the inside of the "C" with view of the lake beyond.

JO-JO, we actually got that view on our last trip before moving to BWV. We were dead center of the inner circle on 7th fl. Only issue we had was at around (2am I think) the alarm went off and we had to walk down 7 flights. There was no fire, someone accidentally set the alarm off they said.

We had a Lake View on the 8th Floor in the fall (I think it was Room #7808). Awesome view of the Lake in the morning with the sun coming up, and a reasonable view of fireworks from MK at night!

We were in 8208 last February. This is classified as a lake view room.

The view was of, mostly, Tomorrowland with Space Mountain slightly off dead center. Below us were the tennis courts and a parking lot full of construction equipment. A slight lean out to the left and we had a castle view. Dead center view were trees. In order to see more than a sliver of the lake, we had to lean out and look to the right. I'm not really complaining, as the view at night was pretty darn good for viewing the MK fireworks.

I was in a lake view 2 bedroom in Nov, with a full view of the contemporary. We were in an even numbered (outside of the C) and south end of the building (was the last room at the end of the hall). It was really quiet but had a nice view of the lake as well as a great view of the contemporary. The Contemporary was in full view from the living room window. Highly recommend that side of the building!
