I am trying to check rates for next June. I canot seem to figure out how to put in a rate code. (as in AAA or the Fanclub...etc) I cannot find a place on the USF or the Loews site to put in a rate code?

What am I missing here? (I cannot bring myself to pay $300 a night for just a hotel room, our last stay there was 3 years ago and we did not pay but maybe $189 before taxes...) If we can't get a discount...we will just head onto Disney.

all help appreciated,
Esmerelda

For AAA rates , you need to call reservations directly .
My rates for June 30th and July works out at $211 +tax.
Midweek rates are $207 and weekend rate is approx $220 for AAA.
not sure about Fanclub rates as have never seen them, but pretty sure someone will be along who has heard of them.

That's a great rate. Why are my AAA rates for August so high? I'm booked at HRH on August 9th through 12th. at $282.60 for a weekend rate and $269.10 weekday.

Hi johnnyr, what type of room did you book.
You could book RPR Club Level for those prices at HRH, might be worth calling them to see if rates have changed since you made your booking. Was just checking and cannot find HRH AAA rates on the AAA auto south website, but they have them for PBH at $254 which is still quite a saving on the HRH

Hello Robert. To the best of my knowledge, I have a standard Garden View room at a AAA rate. At least that is what I asked for when I booked it. Here is what the online info says when I check my reservation on their site:

Promotion Code: AAA Member Discount
MUST PRESENT VALID AAA ID CARD AT CHECK IN RATES SUBJECT TO RESTRICTIONS AND BLACK OUTS

Room Type: GARDEN VIEW 2 QUEEN BEDS 375 Sq Ft
Spacious room with view of the Gardens or Theme Parks Sleeps up to 5

Yep mine was garden view at RPR although got free upgrade for my Loews status.
Have you stayed at the RPR, reckon its our favourite resort although we have not stayed at HRH, think if prices have not come down at HRH i would pay for club level at RPR or just book the garden view and use the extra saved for food, or switch to PBH.
I checked rates on Bookit.com if you want to have a look, they do not give HRH either, so maybe it is booked up with a convention or something so no real reductions with AAA.

For some reason, HRH only offers a 10% AAA discount at times. RPR and PBH offer a 15% AAA discount. And, for the first time, AAA rates go up on weekends. They didn't use to.

I am hoping they still offer the Super Saver rates. Last year we paid $215/std view at HRH early May. This year, it's up to $253.80. Ouch. We are saving $$ in October by staying at RPR instead of HRH.

OP, look for my Loews First upgrade primer on this board. It has a link for reservations where you can plug in AAA. Although you probably won't be able to book online, you can see what the starting rates will be (if you have a rate change, it will show the discount for the highest rate within your dates), and if AAA is available. The Fan Club rates haven't been around for a few years now. Your best bets would be FLO (FL resident), APH (Annual Passholder), or AAA. With any luck they'll still offer the Super Saver rates as your dates get closer.

This is the reason we choose to stay on WDW property year after year. We thought we would mix it up this time by choosing one of the USF resorts for a change, but 10% isn't enought to keep us from returning. Even 15% is nothing to write home about. Not to mention the cost of parking - rediculus! I will keep our reservations at HRH for August and am really looking forward to staying there, but will most likely not stay on USF property in the future unless they can offer better incentives. We will defenatley visit their parks, but unless they can offer better deals, I'll stay somewhere else and drive over.

Having the unlimited express pass is a big bonus during the busy summer time but everyone needs to decide what is more important.

I appreciate all of the responses. I will check again to see if they offer any discounts. I'm also a member of the HR All Access club (did that last year in Miami) so perhaps that might help me out.

We have stayed at the HRH at least 4 other times, and it was quite nice.
However, I just can't see paying $300+ for simply sleeping and showering. Yes, the FOTL is very nice but the last time we went, out longest wait was maybe 40 minutes (same time of year). I think we can just wait if we have to pay that much. I just work too hard for my money and I feel that is wasting it.

I will keep checking. thanks for all your help!
