Although it gives me the times available, when I try to book it, it says its filled up for a party my size.

We are going on a New Year's Eve Cruise and now we are worried about an 8 am all day snorkling adventure on New Years Day. We all want to stay up and ring in the New Year and my two teenage boys want to stay out late and party. But there is only one excursion I'm interested in other than the one I've booked...the doubloon snorkle adventure at 12:15.

What do you think the chances of getting on it? I'm going to keep trying in case anyone drops out, but what about on board? Do they save spots for onboard booking and if I try and change onboard will they let me? My original excursion is much more expensive than the half-day one, so I worry they will just charge me the higher price. But if I cancel my all day excursion, I worry I won't get anything:(

What to do? Sigh.

How exciting a NYE cruise! Sounds like fun! Ok the excursion most likely has availability but just not enough availability for the amount of people you are wanting to book into that excursion! Keeping checking back on the website because people do cancel! When you board make sure you either go to the Port Adventure desk or if that is not open go to Guest Services and make sure to get put on a wait list for the adventure and time you are wanting! If something opens up they will def get in touch with you! Good luck with everything and enjoy your cruise!!!

Just remember you can't cancel onboard so if you keep the all day one and want to switch you may not be able to cancel the all day one. Sometimes if there is a waiting list and they can fill your spots they will allow you to cancel.

But highly likely if you keep checking everyday (maybe a few times :) ) it will become avaible especially as the cancellation date gets closer (3 days before)

I would try to book fewer people on the shorter excursion and see if it will take that, then just keep trying to book the rest of your party. If you are trying to get 6 or 8 spots, you may not be able to get that many all at once. If there are 4 available, if you don't take them someone else will, and then if 2 more open up, you'll still be waiting for 6.

I booked a full day of snorkling and then decided it was just too much money and time, so went for a shorter day. Earlier the shorter day was full. Things change all the time.
