What has worked for me...
On the regular Annual Pass page, there is a link for “Florida Residents and DVC members”. Click it, and you will have to put in your password.
Then you will see additional options. If I recall correctly, there were tabs. You click on one tab to see the FL stuff and a different tab to see the DVC options. If that doesn’t work, ping back, and I’ll track through it and be more specific.
As BillPA says, you will need the Blue Card to buy the DVC AP. Even if you are able to purchase one online, you have to activate it in person, and they will check eligibility.
If you are a "blue-card" holder, in MDE, do you have your DVC membership set up under the "Memberships & Passes" section? If not, it won't give you the option to purchase the DVC AP.
Just purchased two new Gold Passes this morning via the website... All I needed to do was login and it gave me the option to select and purchase.
I know so so true. Especially after the white card blue card debacle. I'll be curious if we ever get the actual cards but it is scary with their website. We bought regular 5 day tickets and we are going to upgrade to the gold pass but I think we're just gonna do it once we get to Disney in July. I'm tired of their shenanigans between the website and phone. Lol. Let us know how you make out with it thoThis is insane! I purchased one the other day when I could get in. Over the weekend I tried to buy more (have to buy them separately because-- giftcards) and could not get in again. So I called this morning and they said dvc gold passes can only be purchased on the phone!! I asked (very politely) how was I able to get in the other day and no response. How can I get a different response every time I call? The reason why this is scary to me is that the entire system is through their IT and I have NO faith in it at all. They have everything, our dvc points, our resort reservations, our fastpass reservations, our tickets--- all of it in their crappy IT system.
Sorry you had so much trouble. I bought two of the DVC GOLD passes in March (2019). No issues for me. Tickets linked automatically to MDE and I receive a confirmation email. So I have not motivated to call dvc to do this over the phone. But I have been logging in every few days and checking to see if anything changed online and if maybe I could purchase there. No. Until this morning! I nearly fell off my chair when I clicked purchase online and it gave me the gold pass dvc option! So I purchased them, and even more exciting (and surprising. Lol), they linked themselves to mydisneyexperience. Now I am just nervous they will disappear somehow. So if anyone is trying to buy gold passes online... looks like it is open for now.
