Trying to book a WOC Dining package.

Question about WOC Dining packages: I go to book, it's showing blue (available). But when I click to book it, it says there are no reservations and to try to change the date or party size. What gives? I contacted chat and they said there's nothing they can do and the only way to book is via the website or app. This happens with either. It clearly shows availability and there are days it's blocked out completely, so I'm at a loss as to what the issue is or how to resolve it. I don't want the dessert package, I want the dining package... Any ideas or suggestions are much appreciated. Thank you!

I ran into this early July as well. We ate at Wine Country Trattoria and learned that you simply book reservations to dine and tell them when you show up for your reservation that you want to do the WOC package. They give you a different menu. I was worried so I double checked the day before my reservation and was assured it was correct. I was suprised that the dining area was so empty because I thought the viewing was preferrable to the dessert party.

The dessert party has a wonderful view and nothing beats being able to sit to watch after a long day in the park. Of course you are paying a premium for it but totally worth it for me.

We did the dessert party for the Pixar Parade and absolutely loved it—wouldn’t hesitate to do it again! My nephew had such a great time that he convinced me to book the WOC Dessert Party, even though we had already done the dining package earlier in the trip. I had actually done the WOC Dessert Party back in December and thought that I wouldn’t ever do it again… but it's hard for me to say no to my nephew (I'm pretty sure his main objective was collecting the pin that comes in the dessert box 🙃)

That said, personally, I will probalby never do the WOC Dessert Party again. Everyone’s experience and preferences are different, but I found the high-top tables uncomfortable—especially when sharing with another group. It got a little awkwardly cramped with the dessert boxes and drinks and even though I generally enjoy chatting with others they had already been seated for awhile and we felt like we were interrupting their date. In my opinion, the dining package felt like a better value for around the same price. Again, I totally know everyone has different experiences/preferences!

I will share for those that are looking for a break, they let us sit on the stairs before the show started, which was great! There were only two other parties in that area so we really got to stretch out.
