Trying to book 2014... points question

So I am trying to look at availability at our home resort and getting an error about having points over two use years. Do I need to bank my 2013 points before I can look at 2014?

We need more info to help. Otherwise we'd just be guessing about what may be happening.

What is your use year and what dates are you trying to book?

If your trip will cross in to your next use year, you need to call MS to book.

The dates are March 29 to April 5 of next year. We have 53 points still from 2013 that we will roll to 2014.

Last year we rolled our points in Nov and I believe our use year is April.

Then your trip would be spanning the 2013 and the 2014 UY. As was mentioned above the online system does not allow that to be booked as a single reservation and you will have to call MS to book. It doesn't have anything to do with whether you've banked or not and since you will be traveling in both UY's you need to have points available for both UY's.

March 29, 30, 31 will be 2013 use year, so don't bank them first.

I had the same problem in 2014. I have an April UY and Spring Break is the week of March 31 to April 4.

You can't do the whole reservation online UNLESS you split it.

I booked the March 31 dates first, then April 1 to April 4 as another booking. I then emailed MS to combine both reservations.

So your options are:
1. Book 2 reservations splitting the dates yourself online. Then call or email MS to combine
2. Call MS to have them book for you

I personally want to see the choices myself so I went with #1.
