Trying 2 "new" restaurants.....

At least they are new to us......a little background. Heading back "home" on December 8th for a long weekend to celebrate my sister's 40th....just the three sisters going, no one else. My 2 DS, 11 and 6, not too happy with me but that's a whole other thread!! Hee-Hee!

Doing MVMCP on Friday the 9th (YEAH!! my second time, two sisters first). Called to make ressies, or ADR as I think they are called now, and was suggested by CM to try Tony's in MK. We have all done LTT multiple times and figured we'd try something different......any thoughts?

Also, my sister who's celebrating the 40th is a princess fanatic. Have done the castle multiple times so I figured I'd surprise her with the Princess breakfast in Norway........thoughts on this?

Haven't been "home" in over two years.......I have been lurking on the boards always living vicariously through everyone else!! As you can imagine, I am so excited.....even if it's just a quick 4 full day trip!!!!

tony's is pretty universally panned on these boards.we heven't been recently because it was expensive and not good last time we went...guessing maybe the lack of ressies had something to do with the recommendation

Tony's was one of my most memorable WDW meals ever. We were seated outside on the patio and were able to watch the 9pm Spectromagic from our seats-- it was amazing.

The food however... maybe a 3 out of 10. I think the menu lacks variety and just isn't all that good. If the Plaza is available, I might try that instead. Otherwise, if it was me, I'd be either doing counter service or eating in one of the MK resort restaurants before I came over.
