Try this for a Pin code, worked for me !

Hi all,
Just wanted to share this tip for getting a pin code that worked for me.
I have been trying everything I have been reading lately on how to trigger a pin code to be sent from Disney, and nothing seemed to be working. It was becoming a challenge to see just how I could get one, and almost became a game to me. For many,many years WDW has had my email address I used for booking ALL of our vacations, and anything WDW Related. I tried everything within the last few weeks with that E-mail address to see if I would get a pin..........nothing. I tried everything with itinereries......save, delete, add, onsite, offsite........everything! Still NO Pins !!!!
I tried this 2 days ago.
I set up a different e-mail address, but still using all of my personal information that the old e-mail address had, address, name, phone, everything the same. I set up 2 itinereries. 1 with I needed accomodations, no tickets, and another one with I was staying off-site, no tickets. They were very basic itinereries, no plans for anything else filled out. That was on Saturday and I have not changed anything since. Today on the NEW e-mail address I got the Alice/Rabbit Pin code 20/30/40 % off. It reads...........

Keep in mind the important thing is, WDW has only had this e-mail address for 3 DAYS !
Also, I have NEVER recieved a pin code from them EVER. Via my old e-mail adress or by snail mail.
Also, I ALREADY have reservations for the Poly booked under the OLD e-mail address.

Dont know what triggered the pin, but I am sure it was something to do with a new e-mail address in the system, and the 2 itinereries that stated, I was either looking for accomodations, and I was staying off-site.
It seems they were trying to sway a "new" customer to stay on site. Even without the code, we will still going to WDW this year, I think they know that in looking at our history the past 10 years with the old e-mail address.

Hope this helps someone get that MAGICAL PIN CODE !!!!

I am so excited, I have NEVER recieved a pin, EVER.

Now I have to decide how to use it !!!!!

This worked for me a few days ago. Got the same pin code offer as well. My regular email address that I have used for years has never received a pin -they must have figured I would go with or without a code (true).

We got our first code today as well! About 4 days ago I registered my husband on the WDW site and he picked out some possible itineraries. Then today he got the 20/30/40 code. When I registered him we were playing around and said this was going to be his first trip. The email with the code said "We're thrilled to hear you're thinking about taking your very first Walt Disney World® Resort vacation!"

Good Luck !
Just called tonight and was able to change our reservation. Very easy to do.
Went from Polynesian Garden view club level to Theme park view club level for just about the same price !!!
This pin saved us over $900. on our stay in August.
Hope everyone else has some good luck getting a pin!

I got the 20/30/40 pin code on Friday and today got the QSDP, but only good on stays through August 14th. We are going in Dec. I do have a 20/30/40 code attached to my name, which is good in Dec, so I think I will just book with that and see if anything else comes out. I check vacation package prices all the time on the Disney site, and always save my offers. I received both pin codes within two days after doing so. Hope something better comes out before Dec.

I didn't register a new email address, but I did log in to my account for the first time in a really long time to use the trick another thread talked about by planning itineraries and then just exiting out and not booking. I guess it really works! I received a pin for the 20/30/40 off!

It is puzzling me that I did this with both my email and with DH's.

He got the pin, I still can't get them just to send me one.

At least we have a pin to use, but I'm starting to wonder why they seem to not like me... I'm the one in charge of our money.
