While my hubby was on hold on the cell phone, and I kept getting a message that all curcuits busy, I decided to dial 1-800-828-0228.

I did have to listen to all of the message, but then dialed 3, and got right through. NO hold time.

Just thought I'd pass along.

I had the same idea after waiting 25 minutes on the dining line.


I called disney travel, but pretended to be changing the reservation. Got thru after 5 minutes. The phone that called disney dining at 7 am was still on hold after I booked all of my ps.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for posting this. I was getting so frustrated...I was on hold for 53 minutes when I checked this board and saw your posts. I used my cell to call the WDTC and pressed 1 for changing reservations. I was only on hold for 3 minutes and the lady answered and got my CRT ressie for me. I also changed our MNSSHP dinner ressie over to CP (at a much better time for the party) and I was still on hold on the other line.

So, again, thank you!!! You guys really helped me this morning. Hey, I got Cindy's WOOHOO!!!!!

Ugggggg! I got through with this number after 10 minutes! But they had to switch me back to WDW-DINE because my party was to big! I hate this!

Just a word of warning... I used the 800#... and basically got told off by the CM that answered... "Disney does not have an 800#, and this call could get cut off at any time..." etc... he refused to make my PS and when I asked to speak with a supervisor, he hung up on me...

Of course, the other line I was using, was also calling in on the 800# and got a VERY pleasant CM!

Thanks for the tip! It worked for me, got through after about 10 min too and got my PS for CP the night of MNSSHP!

Okay, I take it back, I got reservations for 10/22 at 8:25 am!!!! I am so excited!!! Can you tell I'm excited!!! And it's for a party of 13 too!!! Yippppeeeee!

Did you tell him you were calling on the 800 number because they have no way of knowing what number you called in on. By the way press 3 and it brings you right to dining. 1 is for new reservations and 2 is to change an already existing reservation.

They can tell which line you call in on. There's an 800# for TAs and an 800# for spanish speakers. If you call on one of those lines, it shows up on their screen. Many won't say anything, but every now an then one will comment that you're calling on the wrong line.
