Need some help here, had the recipe and now I can not find it anywhere in my collection. Would appreciate if someone has the recipe they would share..it is out of this world.

Thanks,

Jack

Chef Marcel was supposed to email it to me, but I forgot to send him the email asking for it. Will do it now.

Hey thanks, the whole family loves this mac and cheese, I can not stand other variations they just do not come up to the quality.

It is amazing,I have never eaten anything like it and paired with the chicken it is a perfect combination. So creamy and smooth, like velvet with the macaroni being cooked perfectly.

The Napa Rose also serves this on their "children's" menu. I ate once at the Napa Rose at the Chef's Counter and watched them make it. It looked really good. I keep thinking that some time I'll go there and have it.

We also had it as a side over at NR, there was a bit of a taste difference between the two. I thought the macaroni was over cooked at NR and some what mushy but still very good.

My friend ordered this last week. I didn't try it because I don't like mushrooms and was afraid of it. She didn't say much about it...is it really that good?

I stuck with my favorite, Chateaubriand. Unfortunately, for the first time it was tough and not that tasty. However, the waiter saw my face and saw me commenting to my daughter about it and they whisked it off to be immediately replaced. Gotta love that kind of service!!

Now, if you can get me the recipe for Jazz Kitchen's double chocolate bread pudding, I'd be forever grateful!!!

They use truffle oil does not have a mushroom taste and it is very smooth. My Chateaubriand in August was more than fork tender, sorry yours was not that way. Service was again over the top.

My wife had both versions a couple weeks ago...she says the 33 version was better:) Hope you find the recipe...

Regardless of what you order, you can ask for a side of truffled mac. My daughter loves it, and asks for a side every time, even with her Chateaubriand. Chef Marcel came out to talk with us at the Candlelight dinner, and offered the recipe. I've sent him an email, will let you know when I get a response.

Now how about the 3 cheese Monte Cristo(I am being very lazy with this one)

TIA, Jack
